The Ultimate Inspiration Calendar for Card Mailers April 2020 edition is now available for FREE download! This calendar is a part of our card-mailing community at Mail It Monday. Mail It Monday is located on Instagram and is a growing group of people all encouraging one another to send cards. While most people make their cards, sending any type of card is amazing! We are working on spreading love into a world that needs more light! Mail It Monday also tracks card drives and organizations that send cards out. So its a happy place full of resources!

This calendar started last year. It is a resource that is meant to bring ideas and inspiration to you! The days on this calendar are fun, serious, and well, some days plain old ridiculous! Use this calendar to inspire you to take out an old stamp set you forgot about. Maybe the day will remind you of someone special in your life. The day might even spark an idea to send a card to someone you never thought about needing a card before! So many possibilities! This FREE monthly calendar is a fun way to inspire yourself not only to make cards, but also to mail cards. And please, if you are not a card-maker, know you can use this calendar to help you as well!

Take a look at March 11. Its Johnny Appleseed Day. I remember that day clearly because at my elementary school, we always celebrated. Each grade had a different way of celebrating, but it was something fun we always did. It makes me think of my teachers and what an influence they have on my life. I am fortunate to still be able to be in contact with many of them, so on that day, I will mail a card or two, simply saying, hey, I was thinking of you today. My cards don't even need to be apple themed, but they could be.

Let's look at March 16, National Panda Day. Newton's Nook, Simon Says Stamp, My Favorite Things, The Ton, and I am sure more, all have adorable panda bear stamp sets. Use the day to inspire some card making with those stamps forgotten in your stash.

No matter how you use The Ultimate Inspiration Calendar for Card-Mailers, the idea is to send mail. To send cards. To send love.

The Ultimate Inspiration Calendar for Card-Mailers for February 2020 is now available for FREE download!

Over at Mail It Monday, we are striving to get better at sending cards. Because we know what a difference it can make in someone's day to get happy mail! To help inspire our card-making, and our card-mailing, we have this fun calendar full of holidays, serious to silly, to get the creative juices flowing!

For example, February 9 is National Pizza Day. This brings up a few thoughts for me. First, my husband and son LOVE pizza, so I should make them cards with pizza on it and surprise them with a sweet lunch note. Second thought that pops up for me is the super cute stamp and die set from My Favorite Things Stamps-Pizza My Heart! See? Lots of inspiration to be found!

Welcome to 2020! It is a new year, hey, even a new decade and it is time to start working on goals. This year, make your goal about sending more snail mail. Whether it is a card you made or a card you purchased, let The Ultimate Inspiration Calendar for Card-Mailers help inspire you to mail cards.

The goal of this calendar is to encourage you to find reasons to send cards. Each day of the month has a serious, fun, or downright silly celebration attached to it. Use those days to help you create a card, or think of someone in your life who could use a card.

For example January 3 is chocolate covered cherry day. This makes me think of my dad. He loves anything chocolate. I remember when he was excited about Dairy Queen having a chocolate covered cherry Blizzard. They were his favorite. Because I am thinking of my dad, I will send him a card and probably drop a Dairy Queen gift card inside the envelope too. Not only will I send him a little gift, but the story is a wonderful memory and he will know that I was thinking of him. That is a lot of love tucked inside an envelope. Imagine the difference you can make in your world by sending cards?!

For another example, take a look at January 21. Its National Hugging Day. I can think of several stamp and die sets I have with the word "hugs." GinaK has one that pops to mind. On that day I will make a card using those products and send it to someone who has been on my mind. See all the inspiration possibilities?!

For example, November 12 is National Chicken Soup for the Soul Day. What popped into my head first was a stamp set I have from Lawn Fawn, called "On the Mend." In the set is an image of a bowl of soup. I can use that set to make a card. And then I am reminded to send a card to a friend who has not been feeling well. I love how this works!

The month of September is already upon us and as the days began to get cooler and the sun starts to set earlier, we have more time to spend on card-making. The goal of Mail it Monday is to encourage you in your card-making, but more importantly, your card-MAILING! Sending cards is a simple and beautiful way to tell someone you are thinking about them. Its a way to make someone feel special. Send love, send cards. Imagine the difference that we as card-makers could make in this world by simply doing what we love?!

This calendar is a monthly list of national days being celebrated. Some of them are sweet and thoughtful, others are downright silly. But the goal is to inspire you to grab some different stamp sets and make cards based on the days. Or to remind you to send a card to someone, like a grandparent, or aunt, or your newspaper carrier.

Hello card-mailers! Hard to believe how quickly the summer is passing us by! But it is time for the JULY calendar! This month's calendar seems to be full of good food and drink, which seems appropriate for the heart of summer. But there are a few days of special note, that we don't want to have get lost in the shuffle of sloth and gluttony...

July 11th is Cheery Up the Lonely Day. Be sure and send a card off to someone special that needs extra love. I might also encourage you to bring a card to an elderly neighbor who might be alone. Or, even bring a stack of cards to a local nursing home and have them passed out. Spread the love wherever you can.

Also note the family members days later in the month. Cousins, Aunts and Uncles, and Father-In-Laws. You know, we often forget to acknowledge those family members, at least I do. Take the time to send a card off to them. Write about a special memory you have of them. Its a sweet way to send love via good old fashioned snail mail!

The year just seems to be flying by! It is already May, and well, looking at this calendar, it will be a busy month! I guess in the spring we have much to celebrate. Its like Thanksgiving for the spring! I know each day this month has a day associated with it, but there were so many good ones, I couldn't help but add them all.

Use these days as inspiration for sending cards for different reasons and to different people. Use the days to inspire some fun at your house with your family. Take the idea and meet up with a friend to celebrate! Simply use the Ultimate Inspiration Calendar for Card-Mailers to inspire you to add joy and love and happiness to your life and the life of those around you!

Welcome to Mail It Monday! As always, Mail It Monday is a fun way to remind you to mail those beautiful cards that you have made! It doesn't have to be on a Monday, any day of the week is the perfect opportunity to tell someone that you are thinking about them and to show them how special they are! Like we always say, send love, send cards!

If you are new here, welcome! I will encourage you to join our growing community of

Whenever you post to Instagram about mailing your cards, use that hashtag so we can cheer you on and see what beautiful creations you have made. Each and every week I love going through and connecting with those who share my heart for mailing cards. I would love the chance to connect with you!

It is the last Monday of February, which means, its time for the next month of the Ultimate Inspiration Calendar for Card-Mailers! This calendar is a FREE DOWNLOAD! Yep, absolutely FREE! The idea behind this calendar is to not only inspire you to find reasons to send more cards, but also to inspire your creativity. Some days are serious, some days are totally silly. But it is all about fun! March's theme is Thanking Helpers.

This month we can take the opportunity to thank those who help us, but don't often get thanks. Doctors, dentists, nurses, pet sitters, housekeepers, and more. While yes, these people are paid helpers, more often than not, we have a relationship with these people. In my own situation, I work very closely with my rheumatologist. I spend a lot of time with him and his nurse. They help me immensely and I know it is their job, but they need to know that I appreciate their time and care. They truly go above and beyond. This month is my chance to surprise them with my sincerest of thanks!

The Ultimate Inspiration Calendar for Card-Mailers - February 2019

The first month of everyone using The Ultimate Inspiration Calendar for Card-Mailers was AMAZING! You took the idea and ran with it! Some of you printed the calendar and placed it in your planner. Some printed the calendar and hung it up in your crafty space. I saw some amazing cards being created from the days on the calendar. Many of you were happy to find new reasons to mail cards last month! My heart was full of happiness seeing each and every post!

So today, I am thrilled to get you a link to the calendar for February! Simply click the word February and you will be taken to a FREE downloadable and printable calendar!

Once again the calendar is full of silly days, heartfelt days, and well, lots of great reasons to mail more cards! Take special note of "Thank a Mail Carrier Day" coming up next week! It is also Random Acts of Kindness Month, with the focus day being February 17.
