never ruin a card again! We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced

Oooh, it's time to kick off the next year worth of posts for We R Memory Keepers! I am thrilled to be a part of the team again this year! There are SO many wonderful new products ahead and I cannot wait to share them with you!!

Up today on the We R Memory Keepers blog is the Precision Press Advanced. This stamping platform can change how you stamp and just wait until you see the new tools coming out to go with it! I am BLOWN AWAY! Hint-stencils!!!!

I used the Precision Press Advanced to help me perfectly line up my stamp on my die cut heart. Because I don't know about you, but I have ruined about a million and a half cards and die cuts over the years by missing. There is nothing worse! stamping on a layout - We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced

Its a layout! Shocking I know! But, I did stamp on the layout, so that totally makes sense! In all seriousness, I really do love to scrapbook, so its nice when my assignments get me to do something different!

I used the newest tool from We R Memory Keepers called the Precision Press Advanced. Its a really great stamping tool! I paired it up with some mixed media products from Vicki Boutin and had a blast creating!

The Precision Press Advanced comes in two parts. The bottom is magnetic, has a grid, and has a surface with some grip. All along the bottom are pegs that will work in conjunction with the top piece. The top piece is clear and has holes along the edges. The top also has these fantastic soft and rubbery feet on the bottom. Allowing you to use only the top for great stamping results! 

By lining up the pegs on the bottom and the openings on the top, you can get a perfectly lined up stamped image every time. Not to mention when you don't get the image inked up all the way, you can re-stamp without double lines! 

On my layout, I painted lines and stripes onto mixed media paper. When you use paint, the paper can curl a bit. But, by placing the paper in the Precision Press Advanced, with the included magnets, the paper lays flat. Making your mixed media techniques work even better!

layered stamps

Layering stamps are all the rage these days and We R Memory Keepers has some very cool designs and a VERY clever way to line up the images! For my assignment, I had fun playing with this layered rose image. Unusual color choices for me, but it was fun to use colors inspired by my patterned papers. P.S. Sorry it has been quiet around here again. I traveled to Cincinnati for Papertrey's Anniversary release party three weeks ago. Two weeks ago my husband and I took a trip for his work. We subsequently got ill on our amazing trip and spent the time sleeping with fevers and coughs. Then last week my son had his championship swim meet for the short course season and we were on the road for four more days. Its been a long month my friends. We are almost healthy again. But you can imagine the disaster of everything in the house and in our schedule. Things will get back to normal soon! Here is to an awesome spring break for everyone!! :D

Witch Hat Halloween Decor

Another fun project for the design team at We R Memory Keepers today! Halloween is quickly approaching and I am getting all my decor out. One of my favorite things to do is to add a few more pieces to my collection each year. And each year, they are handmade pieces. 

These witch hats were made with the DIY Party Board. Yep, the board that is meant to create party items. So fun when you can use your tools in many ways! hello card and creating coordinating envelopes

Another fun project for my work on the design team at We R Memory Keepers!

We used our favorite tool for card making. Hands down, mine is the 123 Punch Board! Not only does the board make bows, envelopes, and boxes, but it does SO much more! Visit the We R Memory Keepers blog to see the NEW way I discovered to use the 123 Punch Board!

Fall in Love

One of the best things about being on the design team for We R Memory Keepers is all the amazing tools they come out with! Its wonderful to be able to try them out and see how I would use them myself.

This card is made with one of my current favorite tools, The Dial Trimmer. This trimmer has 6 different blades attached to it! Including a straight and a score blade! It also cuts 12x12 paper, making this a great tool for ANY paper crafter. I used the trimmer on this card, to add a deckled edge to my plaid patterned paper.

Ahhh, the lazy days of summer are here! The time we wait for all year long! When I think summer, I think lakes and pools and about cool refreshing blue. With those images vividly in my mind, I created this card for the We R Memory Keepers blog.

simple treat bags with ribbon

Do you have a lot of tools in your stash? Do you have tools you keep around because you know you will use them, someday? I confess, I have a ton of tools, some used, some not, but I have one tool that I will never, ever get rid of, and that is my We R Memory Keepers Cropadile!
