kiss me at midnight - New Year's Eve treats

The tradition is to kiss the one you love at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve. Well, when you have an almost 13 year-old who thinks kissing is about as gross as it gets, you find a way to get creative. He does love Hershey kisses, so stepping them up with a fun punch board from We R Memory Keepers worked to keep the tradition alive, without grossness. Ha!

(The blue-wrapped kisses are cookies & cream flavored. Yum.)

Using the Emoji Punch Board, I created these cute kissy faces for the bottom of the chocolate kisses. Punching these takes about 3 seconds and is made even speedier when you use the pre-cut paper pads that are also available!

Using the Word Punch Board, I also made a little card to put next to the bowl of treats. Its good to label what is happening. Keeps the fear away from middle-schoolers. Hopefully this handmade touch brings some memorable fun to the party. And not cooties.

Father's Day Card - tie candy holder with FREE template

Dads and chocolate, and also in our case, grandpas and chocolate! Its a great combination and makes for a super fun Father's Day card! With the FREE template I have provided and your We R Memory Keepers Fuse tool, it is easy to create!

To start with, print this FREE template using the link to download HERE:

Cut the tie from the paper, making sure to leave the outer edges of the paper intact(so it maintains its basic shape for more tracing). Trace the tie onto patterned paper and cut out. Using the left-over paper from the tie template, as a guide, place it over a Fuse Clear Sheet. Trace along the edge of the paper with the Fuse to create the candy pocket. Do not seal the top, so that the candy can be pushed inside the tie-shaped pocket. For more tips on creating this candy tie with ease, visit the

Customize your card with letter stickers, papers, and more. This is a fun project and tasty too! I love when my design team assignments are exactly what I need to create at the moment. And of course the chocolate doesn't hurt either. Hey, I am my father's daughter. :D

simple treat bags with ribbon

Do you have a lot of tools in your stash? Do you have tools you keep around because you know you will use them, someday? I confess, I have a ton of tools, some used, some not, but I have one tool that I will never, ever get rid of, and that is my We R Memory Keepers Cropadile!

Not only does it punch two different sized holes, but it also sets eyelets. (Hello, old school!) It can punch through so many materials from fabric to leather to even metal! Check out how I use it to create these treat bags on the We R Memory Keepers Blog! I will also show you two great ways to close your treat bags with ribbon!

my lucky charm; shaker card and treat box

Welcome to the MFT Stamps Release Countdown! For the next few days we will be sharing projects featuring the new stamps, dies, stencils, and colors that will be releasing this month. You will be able to purchase any of the products you see over the next few days on Tuesday, February 2 at 9 pm Central.

Lucky and the coordinating Die-namics Lucky made me think of spring, and then Lucky Charms cereal! :D Not only are the stamp images reminiscent of the cereal, but they also have a ton of options, including faces to add to the larger iconic images! After seeing the small images, I knew they would be perfect inside a shaker card.

This shaker card is see-through, meaning the opening is cut in the front of the card base. I created the opening with Die-namics Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX. The stitching adds a fantastic touch to the edge of the circle!

You can see that after I cut the shapes from Die-namics Lucky, I stamped them with coordinating images and coordinating ink. Its a fun touch! Notice too, the darling patterned paper. This new pack, Lucky Prints Paper Pack is also being released this month.

With the cereal in mind, I just had to find a way to incorporate actual Lucky Charms in a project! I got to thinking about making clear boxes and filling them with the cereal. This sentiment from Lucky was the best fit and these treat boxes would make a fantastic Valentine's Day treat for someone special!

On a Sweet Tooth tag, cut with Die-namics Stitched Traditional Tags STAX, I stamped the sentiment in Hybrid Black Licorice Ink. I also added a few stamped hearts in Cotton Candy ink.

On top of the box, I placed a bow made with the new Lucky Prints Paper Pack and Die-namics Beautiful Bows.

Visit the MFT Stamps blog for all the information you will need about the upcoming release. That includes product images, product videos, links to the design team projects, and more! Plus, there always seems to be a chance to win!
