We're Purrfect Together

I love this Cat's Meow stamp set from H&M Stamps! It just reminds me of my big, fat cat, Milo. He is huge. HUGE. And between him and my toddler, I am not sure who gets into more mischief! :)

I love stamps. You can make your own "themed" products. I used the fish bones stamp and Palette ink on twill. I had to use that image, I mean, look at that naughty cat and the poor fish in the fish bowl.

One last item I wanted to point out on this card, is one of the coloring ideas. I stamped the fish bowl over the top of the cat. By doing that, I needed to make it look as if the paw is really behind the bowl. I colored the paw the same as the rest of the cat. Then, I removed some color with the blender pen. Finally, I colored over the paw with the blue for the water. Very happy with those results!

More Valentine's Day treats. Let me tell you, my boys are very happy with all the baking! :)

I found this darling lips cookie cutter from Wilton and had to buy it. I loved that two cookies would fit perfectly into the heart bag from The Cutting Cafe. I didn't cut out the cute heart-shaped window, just left it uncut. I also did not fold down the "bag" portion of the template. That's what I love about the templates! Complete freedom and flexibility! The cute smooches circle is a printable stamp from The Cutting Cafe.
I frosted the lips with pink icing and then went over the top with Sparkle Gel. The lips look like they have lip gloss!

Here is a long box template from The Cutting Cafe. It perfectly holds 3 of the brownie pops. I made them using a brownie mix and a special silcone pan from Wilton. Once they cooled, I stuck the ends in melted chocolate and sprinkles. Aren't they cute?

I only used the bottom of the box. I added a strip of scalloped paper to the inside. I should have stamped on the outside edge before I stamped, but sometimes I don't think. :) Once again, great creative freedom with the templates.

Are you ready for the Superbowl? I love football, but I have to confess that I truly enjoy the commericals best! :) When I grabbed the set from H&M Stamps, I knew I had to use the football stamps! The set is great, with a golfer, hockey player, and baseball player too.

The Drippy Goo punch from Martha Stewart is fun and the left-overs look like grass, so I punched a few pieces and put grass under the football player.

Here is the girl's version of the sports set from H&M Stamps. Love the bright and fun papers from Scenic Route. They seemed like a perfect fit for this stamp set. This set has a ballerina, tennis player, cheerleader, and a runner.

Yep, using My Favorite Valentine set from H&M Stamps again! Aren't they the cutest? You can see why I can't stay away! :) Best news for you is, ITS ON SALE today and tomorrow!!!!!!!
H&M Stamps is having a HUGE garage sale and you will not believe the prices!! Check it out!!

I used a scalloped square Nestability to make the card bases. If you want to see a tutorial on how to create them, see this post HERE.
Then the base was stamped with a small polka dot backgrounder from Papertrey Ink. I embossed them with white.

Whoo loves you?

My Favorite Valentine is the perfect name for this stamp set from H&M Stamps, because it is my favorite set (at least this week:)). The animals are darling and give me a chance to play with my Copics. I used the Splitcoast sketch 209 from last week, well, stretched it a bit, but I enjoyed the first time really using a challenge sketch from there.

One more thing, you DO NOT WANT TO MISS: H&M Garage Sale tomorrow and Wednesday!!! Heather is clearing out stamps at garage sale prices!!! You have to shop! You will not believe the prices!! H&M Stamps are high quality and getting them for these prices is a steal!!!

Wedding Card

Simple and elegant. This is a card that I truly love to give for weddings. Its classy and clean. I used the cake from the H&M Stamp set called, Just Married.

I stamped the cake with Tuxedo Black Memento on a Nestabilities square. Then the cake was colored in with Copics and a row of gems was added to one of the layers. I adhered the piece to the card and stamped the sentiment underneath.

This set of stamps from H&M totally crack me up! With sayings like "Congrats on your tiny heiny", "I am behind you all the way," and the cute animal behinds, what's not to love?
I used the bunny from A Lil Behind because I wanted to make his tail fluffy. I did it with Liquid Applique.
I also love the Urban Prairie papers from Basic Grey. So fun and springy. (Wishful thinking on my part! :)My fluffy bunny here also got colored in with Copic markers and layered like crazy. I am very happy with the results I am getting with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink and my Copics. No runs, no bleeding.

Isn't she sweet? She is from the H&M Stamp set, Living the Girl's Life. I hope it is ok to put a ballerina in purple...I'm a big fan of purple. And the American Crafts ribbon, that was the color inspiration for this card.

I thought her tutu needed some accenting. I cut a slit into the top of her tutu and pulled sheer ribbon through. The ribbon got cut with a sharp angle and is glued down strategically.

She was colored in with Copics and a Spica Glitter pen.

H&M December Blog Hop: Wrap It Up

Time for another Blog Hop with H&M Stamps! This month's challenge was to wrap it up. I found this cute little canvas bag in my stash. The tag says Hobby Lobby. I haven't been to a Hobby Lobby since before my DS was born, so I am guessing that the bag has been in my possession for at least 5 years! But, this is why I never throw any potential crafty item away! :)

I used 2 sets of stamps on this project, Create a Bulb and Nature's Style. I also used Palette inks. Palette inks are made for projects like this. Once they are heat set (with an iron for about 15-20 seconds) you are good to go.
