MFT Stamps Color Challenge 57

It is a Color Challenge week from MFT Stamps! I love this color combo because it says holiday season to me! I mixed things up a bit from how I normally approach these color challenges and I am happy with the results!

Normally, I would make the white color be a base or panel color, but this time, I used it as an accent color on the branches from Bold Blooms. Yep, still using that stamp set, but it can create so many beatuiful looks, why not?! The rest of the card came together easily. It took maybe 15 minutes to make this card. One card done for the season! Yay!

MFT Stamps Color Challenge 56

I love a good color challenge! MFT Stamps Color Challenge 56 is up and ready for you to play along!

To work all the colors in on this card, I pressed each of the colors of ink pad into a craft mat. I spritzed each color with water to create watercolor. Using a wide paintbrush, I created stripes on a piece of watercolor paper.

I used Llama Love to create a scene on my background. Using the color palette from the challenge, I colored my images with color pencils.

Head to the MFT Stamps Card Challenges Blog and see what inspiration the rest of the team has in store and join in the challenge!

MFT Stamps Color Challenge #54

The latest MFT stamps color challenge is up and its perfect timing for your Halloween projects and cards! Its a fun combination!

I started by die cutting Die-namics Chunky Chevron Cover-Up from all four colors of card stock. I popped several pieces from the Sweet Tooth card stock panel out and added the colored pieces in at random. Once I had my layout decided, I adhered the Sweet Tooth card stock panel, and its pieces down, then added the color card stock pieces, but used foam adhesive for added dimension.

The card was finished off with a heat embossed sentiment from Frightful Friends stamp set, a few bats from Die-namics Spooky Sweets, and for sparkle, clear sequins.
