MFT Stamps Creative Construction with Blueprints Challenge

Welcome to another MFT Stamps design team challenge! These challenges are a ton of fun! Not only do I get to pull out my favorite new stamps and dies, but I get pushed to be creative in ways I never would have on my own. I love getting the creative juices flowing like this!

This challenge is all about angles and curves. Instead of my usual rectangle and square design, this challenge pushed me to try something new. The results could not please me more!

I began by grabbing Die-namics Blueprints 28. Love the angle of the panel it can create! I stayed with my fall feel of everything and used the Free Spirit paper pack. A few leaves from Bold Blooms were added. I used blue inks because it brought out the blue in the arrow patterned paper. To bring out another color in the paper, I grabbed the olive green arrow print paper and die cut it with Die-namics Thanks & Hello. I cut it several times and adhered the layers together. I use this method often to create more impact from the word. It takes on an almost chipboard-like look.

Head to the MFT Stamps Blog to be linked up to the rest of the design team. You know there will be fantastic eye candy awaiting you!

Hay, Girl, Hay! MFT Stamps Release Replay

Release Replay. The chance for the members of the MFT Stamps design team to play even more with the gorgeous new release. September was full of so much goodness and I am excited to share another card with you featuring several new products!

First off, Llama Love and the coordinating Die-namics Llama Love crack me up. The sentiments are perfectly punny and the sassy llama will make anyone smile. Not to mention how truly trendy this set is! This card is completely inspired by a pillow I saw at Target a few weeks back. While it had a camel on it, the tassels and colors were spot on for using with Llama Love.

As a background for my llama, I die cut a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock with Die-namics Stitched Scalloped Basic Edges. Such fun design elements to add to a card and that sweet scallop is perfect! I masked off the cut card stock and stamped the new background image, Lined Up Dots, with Cornflower Ink.

Then, I added these adorable tassels! I used Die-namics Mini Fringe to create them. So easy to do! For a video tutorial, visit: Creating Paper Tassels on MFT Stamps YouTube channel.

MFT Stamps April Release now available!

The wait is over! The MFT Stamps Release is live right now! Which means you can head to the MFT Stamps online store and purchase the stamps, dies, stencils, and more that we have been sharing for the last five days! I will wait patiently here while you shop. Or if you are still making up your mind, let me convince you of a few more items you might "need."

Yay! The April release is now available! Tonight I am happy to feature a couple of new products! First up is a new background called, Lined Chevron Background. Its a great background image for every technique! But I chose to go with embossed resist. You can never go wrong with that!

After stamping and heat embossing Lined Chevron Background, I masked off a rectangle on my card stock panel and inked it with Spearmint ink. Then I added a few splats using Distressed Patterns stamps.

I added leaves cut from Brushed Gold card stock using the new Bold Greenery Die-namics. The word hello is also new in Hello There Die-namics. So many great new products!!

Blueprints 28 is a clever set of Die-namics! While it might not look like much from the front...

...how cute is the inside?!?! The largest die in Blueprints 28 creates this panel that has a flap that opens. You can turn the panel horizontally or vertically, giving you lots of options! After cutting the panel, I turned it into a shaker card! The sentiment from Fly-By Friends was too perfect for adding to the inside. The small hearts inside were cut using an image in Blueprints 28. There are three small images like this; hearts, stars, and circles.

Visit the MFT Stamps blog for all the information you will need about the upcoming release. That includes product images, product videos, links to the design team projects, and more! Plus, there always seems to be a chance to win!
