Its Wednesday, which means time for another MFT Stamps Wednesday Sketch Challenge! This week's sketch is number 298. I love the design as it allows me to use dies, which I love, and encourages me to layer patterned papers together, which I also love with all the new gorgeous paper pads from MFT Stamps!
I began by layering papers from Free Spirit together. The trendy patterns and fall color palette of the paper pad are speaking to me right now! The vertical line down the left side of the sketch seemed the perfect place for a striped piece of paper, and the rest came together. To add the frame element from the sketch, I die cut Kraft card stock with Die-namics Single Stitch Line Square Frames.
Tip: The Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Micro Adhesive Runner is perfect for these frames, and well all the die cut frames from MFT Stamps! Its narrow line of adhesive is ideal for smaller images that need adhesive. It runs straight too, allowing you to easily apply adhesive along the entire length of the die cut piece!
All of my papers, and elements from the sketch, were placed on a piece of Olive card stock that was stamped with Watermark Ink using the Whimsical Woodgrain background stamp.
To finish things off, I grabbed Happy Hedgehogs and the coordinating Die-namics Happy Hedgehogs. How could I not? Every.single.time Birdie Brown slays me with her adorable images! After stamping the images and then die cutting them, I colored them with color pencil, like always. The sentiment was the final finishing touch. Hedgehugs?! I love it!
