Welcome to the start of the MFT Stamps June Release Countdown! For the next 5 days we will be sharing projects
featuring the new stamps, dies, and stencils that will be releasing this month.
You will be able to purchase any of the products you see over the next few days
on Tuesday, June 7 at 9 pm Central.
First up, Sweet Forest Friends and Sweet Forest Friends Die-namics. No need to tell you that the stamps and dies coordinate, as that is one thing we all love so much from MFT Stamps! These adorable critters come with sweet sentiments and other scene building images.
I have found that with the open dies from MFT Stamps that I am preferring to stamp and then die cut. Instead of the other way around. Its great to fill a piece of card stock with stamped images, color them in, and then use them when I am ready! Plus, I feel like I have more control of lining the edges up. Each of these images was colored with color pencil. They make me happy, both the pencils and the critters. :D
To create the background scene, I used two new products. First one is the fantastic, and I mean fan.tas.tic new paper pad, Sweet Sunshine. Stunning patterns and gorgeous colors! The second new product is Stitched Valley Die-namics. Its a two die set that creates the hills you see on my card. Cool part is, you can use the dies for horizontal or vertical cards! Brilliant!
