Welcome to the start of the MFT Stamps Release Countdown! For the next 5 days
we will be sharing projects featuring the new stamps, dies, stencils, and
colors that will be releasing this month. You will be able to purchase any of
the products you see over the next few days on Tuesday, January 5, at 9 pm Central.
Birdie Brown brings the cuteness again this month with Ewe Are the Best. With stamps and coordinating dies that are sweet and punny and everything a stamper and card maker could want!
Ewe Are the Best is full of images that will allow you to build a scene around the adorable sheep images. I love this windmill image. I die cut it twice from Sweet Tooth card stock using Die-namics Ewe Are the Best. Then I colored it, and all the images, with color pencil. I cut it twice because I wanted to make the windmill interactive.
By trimming away the blades of one of the windmills and then attaching it to the complete image underneath, I could make the blades turn! How fun is that?!
From the moment I saw the sheep in Ewe Are the Best, I immediately went digging in my stash for my Liquid Applique. How old school is that?! If you are not familiar with Liquid Applique, its in a tube like glue. You squeeze it out onto your paper where you desire, then heat set it with your embossing tool. It goes from looking like paint to all puffy. Perfect for fluffy, sweet sheep! As you can see, I became obsessed and I had to make all my sheep fluffy!
As you can see, I was also unable to stop stamping! Before I left for the holidays, I stamped several sheets of sheep from Ewe Are the Best with Hybrid Black Licorice ink. I colored them while hanging out with our families. The new open dies in Die-namics Ewe Are the Best make it easy to cut after stamping! The images line up easily and I simply hold them in place with low-tack tape.
There are two different grass images and this fence in Ewe Are the Best. Along with quite a few mix and match sentiments.
And my fluffy sheep. They make me smile. Huge.
One last card, this time with the party sheep. There is one in every group, isn't there? :)
He is resting on a panel of Sweet Tooth card stock that was water colored with Summer Splash ink. The panel was cut with Stitched Mini Scalloped Rectangle STAX.
And more fluff. Someone stop me! :)
Visit the MFT Stamps blog for all the information you will need about
the upcoming release. That includes product images, product videos, links to

win!
thanks for stopping by!

So cute but you had me going with that liquid applique. I would think it takes some time to figure out how to control it. I did a lot of guessing before reading---tips of Qtips, cotton, hardened toothpaste...
