Hello! Hope you are keeping warm! It seems like everyone has freezing cold temperatures right now. It’s the perfect time of year to spend the afternoons and evenings stamping and creating away. Being inspired by so many ideas at CHA (and being freezing cold), I had to get creating myself.
I started by stamping hello onto the large wooden butterfly. The banner behind was stamped onto cardstock and folded.
The gold accents are such fun! And gold is making quite an appearance in the design world.
To make the gold accents, I grabbed some Dodz™ Small from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and Designer Foils from Clearsnap.
Apply the Dodz™ to your paper.
Gently place the foil, color side up, over the top of the Dodz™. There is no need to rub or burnish the foil. If you do, the Dodz™ may pull up with the foil. Oh, well, let’s just say it does pull it up. Live and learn. :)
See how the foil stays on the adhesive? Imagine the possibilities!!!!
Here is a close up look at the foil covered Dodz™. All the adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by3L work with the foil!!!
I hope you are inspired by this idea and that your imagination is running wild! Keep warm!
thanks for stopping by!
