you spice up my life

Welcome to the MFT Stamps Release Countdown! For the next few days we will be sharing projects featuring the new stamps, dies, stencils, and colors that will be releasing this month. You will be able to purchase any of the products you see over the next few days on Tuesday, February 2 at 9 pm Central.

Chefs! How adorable are these chefs?!? Birdie Brown always delivers the best stamps! Recipe for Happiness and Die-namics Recipe for Happiness are fun sets!

I started my card by cutting Sweet Tooth card stock with Die-namics Recipe for Happiness, using the chef image with the bowl. I stamped the image with Hybrid Black Licorice ink and colored it with color pencil. I repeated the same process for the cooking pots.

When I saw the new background, Mini Hexagon Background, it made me think of a tile floor. I stamped it with Hybrid Black Licorice ink and colored in parts of the image with a marker.

Over the top, I placed a piece of Wild Cherry card stock. I stamped it with the spoon image from Recipe for Happiness. Then I cut it with Die-namics Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX. The set of dies cuts a window from the paper, leaving a stitched edge around the window. So cool! These style of dies come in Rectangles, Squares, Circles, and Ovals!

The chefs from Recipe for Happiness needed to be on recipe cards!

I stamped each of the images on card stock, coloring them in with color pencils. Then, I stamped the words "my recipe" by masking them off from a sentiment from Recipe for Happiness.

Using a ruler and a marker, I made lines for the ingredients and instructions.

I wrapped them together with some baker's twine. How cute would these be for a wedding shower gift?! Or just as a cute addition to your recipe box!

Visit the MFT Stamps blog for all the information you will need about the upcoming release. That includes product images, product videos, links to the design team projects, and more! Plus, there always seems to be a chance to win!

thanks for stopping by!
