Welcome to the start of the MFT Stamps February Release Countdown! For the next 5 days
we will be sharing projects featuring the new stamps, dies, and stencils that will be releasing this month. You will be able to purchase any of
the products you see over the next few days on Tuesday, February 2 at 9 pm Central.
Farm-tastic and Die-namics Farm-tastic are perfectly adorable farm images with punny sentiments! Everything you could want from a stamp set and dies! Several other products being released this month help you create the idyllic scene for your farm. I started my scene with two patterned papers. The blue sky is from Lucky Prints Paper Pack and the green grass is from County Fair Plaid Paper Pack. The scale of these 6x6 papers is spot-on for cards!
I stamped the horse, pig, and cow on Sweet Tooth card stock using Hybrid Black Licorice ink. I colored each of the animals with color pencil. Die-namics Farm-tastic was used to die cut each animal out. Now that MFT Stamps dies are open, working this way is so easy! And its great because I can stamp a bunch of images, take them with me to color in the car line, or at the pool, and then die cut them out for using later!
How cute is that sentiment from Farm-tastic?! To complete the rest of my scene, I added a fence created with Die-namics Farm Fence and Sweet Tooth card stock. The fence covers up the "seam" between the patterned papers, which is a great design tip and technique! Die-namics Sunny Skies and Die-namics Puffy Clouds finished off the rest of the scene. I love this cheerful and sweet card!
Because I had stamped and colored quite a few images, I had lots of images to use to create cards. It honestly made the card making go quickly and I still can make more! The "chicken in" sentiment from Farm-tastic on this card makes me giggle! (I was going to say, cracks me up, but that was going to be one too many puns! :D)
Farm-tastic comes with a small fence image in the set. It works nicely with this smaller chicken image. Note the red background, it was stamped with a new background image called Mini Hexagon Background. What a cool background! I will be using it all the time!
Visit the MFT Stamps blog for all the information you will need about
