warm winter wishes: MFT Stamps November Release Countdown

Welcome to the start of the MFT Stamps November Release Countdown! For the next few days we will be sharing projects featuring the new stamps, dies, stencils, and colors that will be releasing this month. You will be able to purchase any of the products you see over the next few days on Tuesday, November 3 at 9 pm Central.

The poinsettia image in the new stamp set, Winter Warmth, caught my eye right away! I love how it has three images, allowing you to stamp and layer! The holly leaves image is awesome too! Using those, I was able to make a cute and traditional Christmas card. I cut Sweet Tooth card stock with the coordinating die set, Die-namics Winter Warmth. When stamping coordinating images, I like to place the die cut paper onto a dark surface. The dark background really helps me line up my images better. For the ink colors I used, check the supply list at the bottom of my post.

On the Kraft card stock base, I stamped Polka Dot Background with Kraft ink. The striped piece of card stock was created with a new background image, Bold Diagonal Stripes and Poppy ink. This background image will never, ever leave my desk. Its perfect!

The sentiment was stamped in Field Day ink and uses the set released last month, Joyous Christmas Sentiments. I chose that color to coodinate with the holly leaves tucked in the poinsettia flowers.

These images came from the same set of coordinating stamps and dies! Winter Warmth is a fantastic mix of images!

The scarf has two parts to the image, the solid base and the stripes. SO clever! Imagine all the color combinations you can create! I hung the scarf on a panel of Sweet Tooth card stock cut with

The mittens are adorable and are two images, like the scarf. I added a piece of twine to "tie" them together. Winter Warmth comes with a string image and coordinating die. The sentiment is from a new stamp set called, Let's Get Cozy. Behind it, for some color, I stamped two different snowflakes from Winter Warmth.

The background of this card may be my favorite out of everything today! Winter Waves Background is a red rubber background stamp and the ideas are endless! Stay tuned as I will be featuring that image during the new product launch next Tuesday. On this card I stamped it with watermark ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. It creates a tone-on-tone look, but with texture, and I love it!
