the MFT Stamps November Release Countdown begins!

Welcome to the start of the MFT Stamps November Release Countdown! For the next 5 days we will be sharing projects featuring the new stamps, dies, stencils, and colors that will be releasing this month. You will be able to purchase any of the products you see over the next few days on Tuesday, November 3 at 9 pm Central. As the days get cooler, we are looking to make your hearts warmer with some adorable images, punny sentiments, and creative dies. Grab a warm sweater, a mug of hot chocolate, and enjoy the inspiration until you can shop!

Who can resist snowmen? I cannot. Especially when they are drawn by Birdie Brown! Toasty Greetings is yet another fantastic set of images from Birdie Brown that will get you excited about snow and cold! Maybe. Wink.

I started by die cutting the coordinating Die-namics Toasty Greetings images from blending card. Then I stamped the snowman in Hybrid Black Licorice ink and colored him with Copic markers. I added a bit of a plaid look to his scarf with a dark blue marker.

The background panel is pretty cool, if I do say so myself. I inked a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock with the new Blue Yonder ink. An ombre effect was created by inking lightly over half way down the panel, and more heavily inking the top. I spritzed Sheer Shimmer Mist on the entire panel for added shine. It looks really cool in person as the shimmer effect shows on the white part at the bottom of the panel. Stencil Snowfall was placed over the panel and Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink was pushed through. What a great touch of snow it provided!

The sign was made by die cutting Sweet Tooth card stock with the smallest die in Die-namics Rectangle STAX Set 1. The sentiment from Toasty Greetings was stamped on the center. To make the stick, I used one of the stick images from Die-namics Toasted Marshmallows. But my favorite part about this card is the little shadow I made under the sign. To create the effect of the sign being in a pile of snow, I simply pushed my foam blending pad, already full of ink from creating the backround, where I wanted the base of the sign to be located. It was a great effect to add!

Visit the MFT Stamps blog for all the information you will need about the upcoming release. That includes product images, product videos, links to the design team projects, and more! Plus, there always seems to be a chance to win!

You have such a lot of cute details. I love his scarf and think your background is just beautiful . And even before I read your comments, I noticed the coloring at the base of the sign. Nice touch. Might have to get me some of that ink and some shimmer stuff. Very cool.
