MFT Stamps September Release Countdown continues

Today it kind of feels like the movie Ratatouille on my blog, with mice and Paris...but with all this gorgeous product, I am living in my office happily creating and watching tons of movies. Disney movies are my favorite to watch, if you haven't figured that out already. On to the projects!

Birdie Brown, oh how you make me smile with your adorable images! Harvest Mouse is fall perfection! Look at that adorable mouse! Using Die-namics Harvest Mouse, I cut Blending Card so I could color him with Copic markers. I stamped the mouse with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and proceeded to color him in fall-ish colors.

To create my own patterned paper of sorts, I stamped the branch image from Fall Florals in Kraft ink on Kraft card stock. Then I stamped the berry image with Summer Splash ink. The white dots were added with a paint pen.

Underneath the mouse I layered Primitive White card stock that was cut with Double Stitched Rectangle STAX along with Summer Splash card stock cut with Die-namics Pinking Edge Rectangle STAX. It was stamped with Burlap Background in its coordinating ink.

All of the edges of this card were inked with Natural ink, to add a worn look for fall. It also helps bring together all the various colors of card stock by toning them down.

Ah, Paris. My dream. One of my biggest travel dreams is to go to Paris. So when I saw the new
Die-namics Paris Skyline, my heart skipped a beat and I hope that I will get to use it to create a layout or two someday. Maybe I need to leave it out as a hint. ;)

I wanted the skyline to be in the sunset, so I grabbed a few inks and created the background. I chose the colors based on a sunset I saw the other night, I love when nature inspires your work!

After I had inked the background the way I desired, I dropped water onto the background for interest, but also to add the look of stars coming out in the night sky.

The sentiment is from Mon Cheri, another Paris themed set. J'adore.

Visit the MFT Stamps blog for product images, because there is so much more than I could ever share here, videos, and links to the rest of the design team. Did I also mention the chance to win? Go!

thanks for stopping by!

I love the background paper. At first glance, I thought I hope she says what collection because I would love to have some. Now I see it is from the "Kimberly Collection" and I can have some. I love the cards!
