only one more day to wait for the MFT July Release Countdown!

Only one more day to wait! My next blog post will let you know that all the gorgeous new products we have been sharing from MFT Stamps will be available!

I am channeling some pretty awesome card makers on this first card! Keep reading to find out who influenced this bright and summery card!

Die-namics Brushstroke Birthday Greetings is where this word "wish" came from. I cut it from Sour Apple card stock and foam mounted it to the card. When I want to add dimension to thinner die cut images like this, I cut my foam tape into small pieces. So worth the few extra snips!

The first fabulous designer that influenced me is Keisha Campbell. I love how she uses butterflies and circles. She always creates such beautiful focal points! For mine, I cut Lemon Drop card stock using Die-namics Flutter of Butterflies Solid. After cutting two butterflies, I stamped one of the butterflies with Split Diagonal Background. I like the subtle pattern. The center of the
butterfly is Orange Fizz card stock

The circles are the new Die-namics Pierced Circle Frames. Essential.

Stencil Abstract is so cool. Hip. Trendy. I have long admired the look of this style of background, but could never figure out how to pull it off. And then I saw Marcie Sharp use something similar to Stencil Abstract with an ombre look and I had to try it out! I am thrilled the results! It turned out pretty and hip and trendy! I feel so cool. Ha! At the top of my card stock, I started inking with Sno Cone ink and at the bottom used Blu Raspberry

This card started with the fun images from Party Patterns. Its been quite the celebration around here for MFT Stamps' 9th Birthday, so I wanted to make something confetti-like or bubbly.

I inked a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock with Razzle Berry, Orange Zest, and Daffodil inks. Then I stamped the solid circles from Party Patterns with Whip Cream Pigment ink. Isn't that a cool effect?!?

To finish off this card, the sentiment "celebrate" from Brushstroke Birthday seemed appropriate. I stamped it with Hybrid Black Licorice ink, once the pigment ink was dry. A few stars were added and sequins too.

Visit the MFT Stamps Blog for all the news, updates, details, and all of that wonderful stuff! I am on vacation for awhile, so things will be short and sweet around here. We cannot wait to escape to some peace and quiet and no schedule!

thanks for stopping by!

I loooove your ombré background on the first card. :) It's so fun as a crafter to see how others are inspired from your work and turn it into their own creation. Thanks for the shout-out!!
