creating a custom ombre ink pad video tutorial: MFT June Release Countdown

The MFT Stamps June Countdown has begun! Over the next several days the whole team will be bringing you projects using the latest and greatest in stamps and dies! Then on Tuesday, June 2, all these fabulous products will be available in their online store! I have lots of video tutorials too, so be sure to check those out as well! On to the fun!

I am not sure where to start with this card! There is toooooo much great stuff happening!!! Ok, I have to choose, so let's start with the focal point, that amazing sentiment! Written In Watercolor is the new stamp set that includes this sentiment. Could the font be any more perfect?!? The size of these sentiments leaves you with so many uses for this set, as it can stand out, like on this card, or be tucked into a beautiful group of flowers.

To really highlight the beauty of these sentiments, I created my own ombre ink pad. Ombre is trendy, but also timeless. Its the look where the color of the object moves from darker to lighter. Using an Uninked ink pad and MFT re-inkers, I was able to create my own custom ink ombre ink pad! Click the play button on the video tutorial below to see how easy it is to create! And see what is so special about this Uninked ink pad!

To back my fantastic sentiment, I stamped Persimmon cardstock with a new background image and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder. Roses All Over Background is beautiful! Look at the detail! Dream of all the possibilities! The sentiment panel was die cut with a new set of edged STAX called, Die-namics ZigZag Stitched Rectangle STAX. Another cool basic shape with an amazing edge! That little bit of detail adds such an impact to your projects!

Visit the MFT Stamps Blog and see all the products, including videos, and be linked up to the rest of the team. My jaw has been on the floor with the projects they have all been creating!

thanks for stopping by!
