MFT New Product Launch-its time!

Its time! Yippee! All the gorgeous products we have been sharing for the past week are now available in the MFT online store! Of course I will wait right here while you fill your cart!

My first card today shows off the latest Die-namics Cover-Up, Houndstooth. Such a classy pattern, one that is a personal favorite. Not as high up there as stripes for me, but I may or may not have a couple of scarves and pairs of mittens with this pattern. :)

I die cut the Die-namics Houndstooth Cover-Up from gold foiled cardstock. It is adhered to my card base with foam squares. Then I die cut the flowers and leaves from Die-namics Forget Me Not from Primitive Cream cardstock. The images from Forget Me Not were stamped, but not until a light mist of water was added to the images to create a watercolor look. The sentiment is from Die-namics Smart Phone. Sort of a fun and trendy touch. Using the speech bubble is not my normal way of adding a sentiment and I rather like it. Read that as, you will be seeing that much more often. :)

The inside is simple. More stamped and die cut images, but it ties the outside and inside together perfectly.

My second card was inspired by a couple of things. First, my love of scarves, and second my grandma. She had this beautiful outfit when I was growing up that was this exact color and pattern. I thought it was one of the prettiest things. And I thought it was especially beautiful because my grandpa picked it out for her.

I die cut Gumdrop Green cardstock with Die-namics Houndstooth Cover-Up and placed it onto a piece of Nightshift Blue cardstock. Then I wrapped a strip of Sweet Tooth Felt around the panel, trimming the edges to look like the ends of a scarf. I closed the scarf with a brooch of sorts. It was made by die cutting gold foiled cardstock with Four Corners Die-namics, the free with $60 purchase this month.

And I continued the colors and look to the inside. The sentiment is from Simply Fabulous Sayings. That is a set that I will use forever!

Now, along with being able to purchase all these wonderful products tonight...there is more good news!!
