Today’s gratitude: Home owner’s insurance, and more importantly, good insurance. Our new house received severe hail damage in September and the contractors have started working. Yesterday the pergola over our deck was removed and will be replaced once parts arrive. The siding, roof, and gutters are next, along with a window and our outside lighting. While its sad, I am so glad that we can have things repaired and returned back to normal. And our company has been wonderful to work with, taking care of everything the right way. Thankful homeowners we are!
Here is a layout I created using the back40 kit from Studio Calico. If you aren’t familiar with Studio Calico, they have amazing kits each month, and now have started their own line of patterned papers and other scrapbooking supplies.
One part of the layout I wanted to point out, is this fishing pole I created. The pole was created by rolling a piece of cardstock. I then wrapped baker’s twine around the top and tied a bow on the end. The fish are from Spellbinders. I couldn’t resist using the heart patterned paper to create one fish, it fit perfectly with how I feel looking at this photo. Not only is it my boys, but its my boys fishing on the dock where I grew up fishing.
I also snuck in using the new large format dies from Spellbinders-Grand Labels Four! Look at how great it is! The size works so brilliantly on a layout. LOVE!!
Remember to share what you are grateful for today! thanks for stopping by!

I am grateful to be able to create things for family and friends.
I am grateful for the friend who is coming over today to help me sort out some bookkeeping stuff I'm struggling with. She's a great friend in more ways than just this one.
I am grateful for my family and today especially for my stepdaughter who is a fun-loving person just like her deceased father was. We work out together at the gym then have lunch. Today she didn't show up at the gym and I was disappointed. I went on to the restaurant for lunch and was reading in my Kindle when suddenly someone was kissing me on the cheek and it was her. That really brightened my day! Thank you Lord for my extended family. Love your scrapbook page.
I am grateful for my health. I was worried about gestational diabetes due to my weight but thankfully everything came back normal.
I am grateful for a forgiving and loving God.
This is an awesome page design! Love your creative fishing pole! :)
Your page layout is

This is precious, Kimberly!
I am thankful for the overwhelming blessing of being in the midst of a miracle unfolding. My cousin's 19 year old son has awakend from a coma after a tragic car accident. He has a long journey ahead but is making great progress and is now the talk of the hospital. It's amazing! I am always grateful for doctors and nurses and even moreso since watching them in action with someone so frail. Such love they openly give!
Today I am grateful for the time my husband is at the gym so it gives me extra stamping time! Love that alone time with my stamps!
