from me to you

From Me to You

Here is another look at Vintage Labels from Papertrey Ink. I used the flourish image to create the background. Printed kraft patterned paper is pretty hot, so why not make your own? I will be doing this pattern a lot, just as a warning. :) This Prima flower has been sitting in my “I love you, but don’t have a use for you YET” pile. When I got my Scarlet Jewel paper the other day-the angels sang! LOL! I went totally vintage/shabby/Victorian on this card and it was fun. Even DH liked this one. :) Oh, and to get the lace to work with the card better, I distressed it with ink, my favorite Creamy Brown Colorbox Chalk ink.

Tomorrow is WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!! I am pumped to see all the wonderful creations designed by all of you! Make sure your name is on the list, so we can be inspired all day long! I will be active on my blog tomorrow, I am still working out all the details for my posts. I tend to dream bigger than my time allows. :) thanks for stopping by, have a good weekend, and see you tomorrow!! (oh and can you believe that hockey starts tomorrow night? we love the University of MN-Duluth Bulldogs men’s hockey and our season’s tickets start Saturday! Go ‘DOGS!)

Supplies: Papertrey Ink-Stamps (Vintage Labels, Text Style, Vintage Picnic Sentiments), Cardstock (Kraft, True Black, Scarlet Jewel), Ink (Noir), Lace-Wright’s, Ink-Clearsnap (Colorbox Chalk Creamy Brown), Flower-Prima, Fiskars-Apron Lace Punch, Spellbinders die templates-Labels One, Double Ended Tags

Hi, Kimberly -

I love the Vintage Label set myself and can't seem to put it down! I love what you've done with it here - especially with this color combo. Love the black and kraft!

Wow, Kimberly! I love this look - I'm a really vintage shabby chic kind of person though. I have to check out those stamps now - does Papertrey make a line that corresponds with Labels 9 by any chance?
