MFT Stamps August Release Now Available!

The wait is over! The MFT Stamps Release is live right now! Which means you can head to the MFT Stamps online store and purchase the stamps, dies, stencils, and more that we have been sharing for the last five days! I will wait patiently here while you shop. Or if you are still making up your mind, let me convince you of a few more items you might "need."
The new release being available is so exciting! I am just starting to get into the Halloween mood, and I know that all my new images are going to help make some fun projects for the upcoming holiday! Grave Situation and the coordinating Die-namics Grave Situation is a funny set of stamps that I know you will love using on cards and more! The set contains three different head stones and six silly sentiments. The sentiments are goofy epitaphs, each one can fit on any of the head stones.

To set a spooky scene for Grave Situation, I began by inking a piece of card stock. My colors were inspired by a Halloween illustration I found on Pinterest. I never would have blended these colors together without that visual and the results are fantastic! After blending the ink colors, After Midnight, Razzle Berry, and Orange Fizz dye inks with a Mini Ink Blending Tool, I die cut the panel with Die-namics Stars in the Sky Vertical. Behind it, a piece of Silver Sparkle card stock was added, to make the stars shine. Oh, I should mention, I added a few water splats too. Maybe could have lived without those. :D

To create the head stones, I stamped several of the images from Grave Situation with Hybrid Black Licorice ink onto Gravel Gray card stock. Then I die cut the stamped images with the coordinating Die-namics Grave Situation. To add depth to the stamped images, I used a grey Distress Marker to add accents and shadows. I also inked the edges and fronts of the head stones to add more aging and texture.

After stamping the fence from Frightful Friends, I tucked the head stones into borders of Black Licorice card stock that were die cut using Die-namics Grassy Fields.

Lots of spooky fun! I cannot wait to use these images to decorate one of our favorite desserts at Halloween, dirt! The pudding covered in crushed Oreo cookies. How perfect will these be for that?!?

Visit the MFT Stamps blog for all the information you will need about the upcoming release. That includes product images, product videos, links to the design team projects, and more! Plus, there always seems to be a chance to win!

thanks for stopping by!

I'm an avid fan of *cute* Halloween-themed images, so your projects here have me smiling allll over my face! Your starry background and the punny gravestones: fabulous! Last year, I made close to 60 Halloween cards/tags for my niece, nephew, their classmates and teachers. I think these sets need to come to live at my place; they'll receive plenty of attention!
