These are non-caloric, I promise!

More Valentine's Day treats. Let me tell you, my boys are very happy with all the baking! :)

I found this darling lips cookie cutter from Wilton and had to buy it. I loved that two cookies would fit perfectly into the heart bag from The Cutting Cafe. I didn't cut out the cute heart-shaped window, just left it uncut. I also did not fold down the "bag" portion of the template. That's what I love about the templates! Complete freedom and flexibility! The cute smooches circle is a printable stamp from The Cutting Cafe.
I frosted the lips with pink icing and then went over the top with Sparkle Gel. The lips look like they have lip gloss!

Here is a long box template from The Cutting Cafe. It perfectly holds 3 of the brownie pops. I made them using a brownie mix and a special silcone pan from Wilton. Once they cooled, I stuck the ends in melted chocolate and sprinkles. Aren't they cute?

I only used the bottom of the box. I added a strip of scalloped paper to the inside. I should have stamped on the outside edge before I stamped, but sometimes I don't think. :) Once again, great creative freedom with the templates.

Are you ready for the Superbowl? I love football, but I have to confess that I truly enjoy the commericals best! :) When I grabbed the set from H&M Stamps, I knew I had to use the football stamps! The set is great, with a golfer, hockey player, and baseball player too.
The Drippy Goo punch from Martha Stewart is fun and the left-overs look like grass, so I punched a few pieces and put grass under the football player.

Here is the girl's version of the sports set from H&M Stamps. Love the bright and fun papers from Scenic Route. They seemed like a perfect fit for this stamp set. This set has a ballerina, tennis player, cheerleader, and a runner.

Whew! That was a ton! If you are still reading this, can you believe I need to ask you for one more thing? Can you please continue to vote for me? (won't you be glad when this is over? :))

More photos from CHA

See the card in the middle (O What a Beautiful Morning)? That is MY card at CHA in the Unity Booth!! :) You should see their new packaging!! Its fantastic! Little brown envelopes and hanging tags for the wood handled stamps. They also pulled the kits apart so you can buy some stamps individually! Check out more at their blog: Unity Stamp Co.

THIS is SO cool! These are the new Spellbinders Impressabilities. Its the BEST embossing tool!! It makes a gorgeous impression, but you could use it as a mask, or even cut it apart! It is very thin, but durable! They are a great price at $6.99.

Here is a sample that Beth Pingry made for us. She used a new Impressabilities die and the new Labels Four die. Then she sanded off the top of the card stock. Such a great look! My head is swirling with ideas for these!

This is the new 2" handle and 15 pt. font from Just Rite.

I hope you can read what I wrote on the photo. You will really want the 2" handle. It has 2 rings around the edge, meaning it will hold the 1 5/8" stamps, like 10 Designer Centers and Borders AND still let you write words around the outside edge!!

I am excited about these Demi stamps. Using the 15 pt. font, you can finish the bottom of the circle border. I am looking forward to being able to use Happy Anniversary and finishing it with Mom and Dad. Love that you can personalize it!

Another new set, called Recipe Set. Looks fantastic! These are for a 1 3/16" handle.

More looks at more stamps. The new stamps have a more modern look to them and you will LOVE everything coming out!! Some ships March 10, some April 10, so keep an eye out at Stamper's Dream! I will let you know when Michelle gets them in! :)

Flower Soft is a relatively new product. I have been fascinated by it, so when we got to play with it and see it used, I was excited! Its like a dimensional flock. You can apply it directly to a card, or you can add it to these small wires they have, allowing you to make a bouquet! They also sell little wraps and vases made from paper that you can use to hold your bouquets.

Here is Tosh, Laurie, and Michelle doing the make and take at the Flower Soft booth.

LOVE these from Basic Grey! They are bling shapes! They also have new rub ons with bling!

Gorgeous new line from Basic Grey called, Wisteria. Beautiful purples, greens, and a soft aqua blue.
Basic Grey's new line, Porcelain. This is shabby chic at its finest. Birds, butterflies, birdcages, soft pinks, greens, paired with a muddy brown. All the browns at CHA were closer to black. A FABULOUS color!
Basic Grey also had another line called Lime Rickey that is bright and SO much fun! I will have a project later this week for you using that and my other new favorite lines from Pink Paislee.
Of course, I am going to ask you to vote for me, again. Sorry. The link is HERE.
thanks for stopping by!!!!!!!

Home from CHA!

I am home from CHA! What a blast!!! It was wonderful to meet old friends, meet online friends for real, and meet new friends!! There was tons of new product to drool over too!!

The Stamper's Dream Girls!!! Me, Tosha Leyendekker, Michelle Rodgers, Laurie Schmidlin. We made a scene in the Spellbinders booth, but hey, we were SO excited to meet in real life!!! Isn't Laurie's hair just DARLING? I had more fun getting to know them and seeing what catches their eye. Amazingly talented women!

You can see how happy I am to meet up with Lynn Mercurio again! She is SO super sweet!!

THE Suzanne Dean! She is too cute! She totally inspires me with how she uses Copics! It was great to meet her in person!!
(good grief, I hate all these photos of me...what a dork!! )
Speaking of sweet, here is Adela Rossol. There were WAY too many cameras going off while we took this one.
I also got to meet (no photos, these were enough!!! :))
Jennifer Buck
Maren Benedict
AJ Otto
Brooke Lien
and so many more wonderful people!
New Jenni Bowlin. Beautiful! Lots of great mini (4x4) papers and embellishments. This all fit in perfectly with the trend towards shabby chic that was so prevalent at the show.

New Fancy Pants. Cute papers, but these colors were also everywhere. Fun and fresh!

Great new Thickers from American Crafts! Can you ever have enough? Great new fonts too!

These American Crafts Thickers are fabric-corduroy! :)

This photo doesn't do justice to the 7gypsies booth!! It was gorgeous!!
I will bring you more photos tomorrow of my FAVORITE, FAVORITE things at CHA, including the new Spellbinders Impressabilities, JustRite's new stampers/stamps, Basic Grey, Flower Soft, Unity Stamps, and more! thanks for stopping by!!
oh, and can you please vote for me and my layout again HERE thanks!!!

Packing and needing your help (not with the packing:))

Remember this layout? Well, it turns out Dymo was happy with it and chose me as a finalist for their contest! I am pretty excited! Here's why I need your help. Its a voting contest. Ugh. I know. I feel weird even asking. Head on over to this link HERE. You can vote for your favorite layout. You can only vote one time a day, but if you feel so inclined you can vote every day. :)
I am getting the last of my packing done for CHA and making sure the boys have food. You think they were completely helpless and incapable. I guess it is just a mommy thing. :)

Have I thanked you enough for stopping by? Well, THANK YOU!!

hugs and kisses

Now its only 3 days until I leave for CHA! I am at work today, so that will make time pass faster. I will be scheduling a post or two while I am gone. I might get a post in at CHA, we'll see. But I will post pictures when I get back.

I got my Heart Prints stamps and punch from Papertrey Ink yesterday. I am having WAY too much fun! When I saw the sentiment, Hugs and Kisses, I knew that I needed to grab the lips from Love Songs and pair them up! I also added the line of X&O's to keep with the hugs and kisses theme. The new True Black is wonderful.
The sentiment was embossed with white detail powder. I colored the gems in with a R29 Copic to get a close match to Raspberry Fizz. LOVE that I can do that!
I have a very cool announcement to make on Friday, one that I will be needing your help with! I can't wait to share!! thanks for stopping by!!! (((HUGS))

Sitting here thinking about you (and CHA)

4 more days until I leave for CHA! YAY! I am looking forward to meeting up with my friends, Lynn Mercurio and Jennifer Priest, and meeting Suzanne Dean and Debbie Corbari for the first time! Drop me a line if you are attending! I would love to meet you!!

I love this stamp from Stampavie. Isn't she darling? I love the mushrooms too! She was a ton of fun to color!
I guess I am following the trend of my Stamper's Dream teammates and making the inside of the card. I honestly just couldn't get the cute sentiment from Impression Obsession to fit on the front of the card. But I am pretty happy with the results. My mom is getting this card. She will love it, the blonde little girl and all... :) thanks for stopping by!

The countdown to CHA is on!!

Wahoo!! I can't believe it is only 5 days until I leave for CHA!! I am SO excited I can hardly stand it!! I am looking forward to seeing the new product, AND meeting my Stamper's Dream team members, Michelle, Tosh, Laurie, and Carolyn!!!
Let's hope the weather is warmer in California than in Minnesota! :)

I love the new Chairs For You set from Flourishes. They are so much fun! Plus, there are some really cute sentiments.
I colored the chairs in first and got lucky on the paper and ribbon matching. :) I wanted to make the cardstock more interesting, so I got the flourish from the Papertrey Ink Remember set. I love that flourish.
Then I wanted a stripe for the top cardstock background, but didn't have one, so I improvised with the longest flower stem.
have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by! :)

I got his darling brownie cutter from Wilton this week. It is two hearts that can fit together. I knew that this sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Favor It Wedding set would be perfect to go with it.
I designed the box with a very simple acetate cover. I placed the brownies on plastic wrap, to keep the paper in the box from getting ruined.

Here is a close-up of the band around the box. The hearts are from the Love Songs set.

I got this award from Amy Sheffer. I really appreciate it, coming from such a talented stamper! Thanks, Amy!
So I need to pick 10 people to give this award to:

How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You

Ever since I saw the first peek of Lisa Johnson's Love Songs set from Papertrey Ink, I have wanted to make the kraft background I used here. It just looks like an ice cream cone! :)
Yes, more polka dots, more penant ends, and more Nestabilities! I am in a rut, but very happy there! :)
