TECC 28 and Blog Candy!

I love all the sketches that are floating out there. Sometimes its nice to use someone else's ideas and this sketch from Taylor's Cupcake Challenge sparked my interest. Plus, I had new Basic Grey Eva paper from ScrapLovers to use and new Tweet stamps from Pink Cat Studio.

I LOVE the look of the airbrushing with Nesties, but I don't have any Copics, so I had to be creative. I used my Nesties as a stencil, but used chalk ink and a stippling brush. WAY happy with the results and will be trying this on everything. :)

I finally got the chance to play with Taylor Van Bruggen's sketch challenge! Every Friday she has a sketch. They are lots of fun, and if you have cupcakes, you just have to use them! :)
The cupcake stamps I have are from Hero Arts. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.
The cherries were colored in with Prisma color pencils, but I added a little white paint pen dot where the shine is. The frosting was Stickled and the heart was covered with Glossy Accents. The papers are from, who else, October Afternoon! :)
Have a wonderful weekend! Tomorrow we run and play in a memorial golf tournament. It is in memory of a friend who was killed. All the proceeds go to a scholarship fund. It is a fun day, exactly what he would have loved participating in. Please wear a helmet, even if it is a short distance, you just never know.
