"There is always, always, always something to be thankful for."
It is already another Mail It Monday! Today is the day to pop a card or two into the mailbox to spread some love to people in your life! Today we are going to chat about thank yous. It is the time of year for thank yous. Time to say thanks for the wonderful gifts, meals, or special events that happened over the holidays. Your thank you note should try and capture the warm feelings and excitement you had when you received your gift (or attended a party, etc.). Your words should bring a smile to the face of the recipient.
That being said, I always struggle with wording my thank you cards. I hate to sound too over-the-top, or worse, sound like I am going through the motions. I started a Pinterest Board for Mail It Monday and I found some wonderful resources and ideas for thank you card wording! YAY! Click here to be taken to the board:
Thank you card structure:
written with words from your heart.
1. Thank you for ________. Insert the gift, the event, etc. Be descriptive.
2. What did you like about the gift or event? How will you use it? How did it make you feel? If a gift card was given, explain how you plan to use it.
3. Closing with another thank you, and what the person means to you, or how the gesture made you feel.
Even if it is a little late, send the thank you card. Always send the thank you card.
For those card-makers looking for a few new thank you products to add to your collection, I have linked up several of my personal favorites down below, both stamps and dies. For those reading this blog post via email, please click through to see this list.

I love doing thank yous and have mine sent out for the holidays already. I added your page to follow on Pinterest for future thank yous. I am always looking for new ideas. Not sure that I will get anything mailed out today as it's MLK Day and we are getting a huge snowstorm. I'll write them out and mail tomorrow. :)
Beautiful thank yous... I was looking for the Spellbinders blog hop post though... I'll come back later... Happy Monday!
Kimberly, Thank you for the Thank You tips. It is so surprising how many people don't know how to write a thank you note! I was taught at a young age to always send a thank you note when I received a gift or assistance from someone. I tried to instill that in my son as he grew up.
Many of our young people today (if they know enough to send a Thank You) believe that an email will do the job. :-\
Your thank you cards are BEAUTIFUL!
Oh my word - I’m in love!! First of all your card is gorgeous - amazing design, as always, and I love the color palette.
But those dies?!?! Going crazy over that envelope!! 😉
Thank you for the great recommendations !
