Welcome to the MFT Stamps Release Countdown! For the next few days we will be sharing projects featuring the new stamps, dies, stencils, and colors that will be releasing this month. You will be able to purchase any of the products you see over the next few days on Tuesday, January 5, at 9 pm Central
Laina Lamb has created another wonderful set of stamps and dies, perfect for Valentine's Day, and frankly, perfect for all my love card needs. I am married to an electrical engineer and am raising a wanna-be electrical engineer, so these images are going to get me a ton of mileage! However, if you aren't living in a house full of nerds, the sweet images and punny sentiments from
Undeniable Chemistry and Die-namics Chemistry Set will make fantastic cards for anyone special!
Using Die-namics Chemistry Set, I die cut the two beakers, the insides, and the heart tube from card stock. I love how each piece fits together, including the stamped bubbles from Undeniable Chemistry! I placed the images on a piece of watercolor paper that was colored with Summer Splash ink and water.
The punny sentiment is from Undeniable Chemistry. I was stamped with Hybrid Black Licorice ink. I layered the watercolor panel onto a piece of Silver Sparkle card stock. The card base is Gravel Grey card stock that was stamped with a few cute chemistry images from the stamp set. I tried watermark ink and then Gravel Grey. I liked the deeper tone of the Gravel Grey ink.
I love to slip notes into backpacks and lunchbags and the new set, Die-namics Mini Note works splendidly. I cut Gravel Grey card stock with the die four times. The center image has a wonderful stitched detail and I die cut it from Sweet Tooth card stock.
I used Coral Crush and Tickled Pink inks to create a little watercolor wash on the background. Then I stamped the images and sentiments from Undeniable Chemistry with Hybrid Black Licorice ink. To bring a little sparkle, I added a heart die cut from Brushed Gold card stock.
The score lines make Die-namics Mini Note easy to assemble. I added a Tickled Pink heart cut with Die-namics Stitched Heart STAX. Layered with a small heart from Die-namics Chemistry Set.

Gorgeous! I am fluent in NERD!
AWESOME card and mini notes. This set is definitely a must (my daughter is a Chemistry major). I love all the colors you used as well as the design.
The mini notes are so cute!

Kimberly these are a treat! I must know if the tri-fold card would hold a gift card?
=]
Great chemistry- what a terrific use of a fabulous set.
Fun projects.
I love this set. My husband is a physicist, not quite a chemist but some of the images and sentiments could apply to his work too. Would make great cards for him and mt sons and SIL who are engineers, and microbiologists. We have a very science-y family! LOL!
SQUEAL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!! =) Such a BEAUTIFUL Design!! THANKS for sharing and have a FABULOUS New Year's Day/Weekend/Week!! HUGS!! =)
So darn cute!
so cute and so sweet!!!
These are all so cute! But the beakers with the valentine heart candy...SO GREAT
Adorable little note cards. I love these "punny" sayings that come with the set. Thanks for sharing with us.
Love your cards - really cute. And I love the photo background beakers filled with candy hearts - so creative.
I'm dying at these cards but I'm also dying that you have beakers with candy hearts in the background.... you're beyond awesome! Love your work girl!
AWESOME! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!
I love these! I love dies you can use to layer and create adorable designs like this. I think they'd make great guys birthday cards too!
I'm really glad to see a chemistry set of stamps that's not for Halloween. I have a set of clear stamps that I had to cut spiders and cobwebs off the various glassware and cut out the eyeballs floating around! I have another wood stamp where I have to precisely layer a sentiment over a rat that's hanging out in the glassware. For the record, those are Erlenmeyer flasks, not beakers. Hope there are some beakers in the set...in the little preview picture I see Erlenmeyers, roundbottom flasks and some vials? Where are the beakers? I'm hoping this set is a hit and more sets are made....someone needs to make some element stamps! Then you can make cards that ask "Are you full of carbon, uranium, and tellurium? ..... Because you are C - U - Te !"
so well put together JLINGRAHAM@HOTMAIL.COM
