patch things up; MFT Stamps November Release Countdown

Welcome to the start of the MFT Stamps November Release Countdown! For the next few days we will be sharing projects featuring the new stamps, dies, stencils, and colors that will be releasing this month. You will be able to purchase any of the products you see over the next few days on
Tuesday, November 3 at 9 pm Central.

Today's card was inspired by the sentiment from the new stamp set, Let's Get Cozy. This versatile set of sentiments has words that will work with anything warm and fuzzy, from fabric and sewing to winter clothing. When I saw the sentiment I knew I wanted to create some kind of patches on a worn out card.

I stamped a panel of Kraft card stock with Linen Background using coordinating Kraft ink. The edges were inked with Natural ink and worn away with a distressing tool. Then I cut Die-namics Stitched Pinking Edge Square STAX from the panel. I repeated that process with a smaller square around the larger one. I adhered the panel to my card base and then added back the die cut squares. Voila, patches!

Inside several of the "patches", I added a layer of color with papers from Farm Fresh Gingham Paper Pack. I cut the papers with Die-namics Stitched Square STAX. Yay for dies that layer together!

I added a needle cut from Die-namics Stitched With Love. Along with buttons cut from Blu Raspberry card stock from the same die set. Some twine added great finishing details.

Visit the MFT Stamps blog for all the information you will need about the upcoming release. That includes product images, product videos, links to the design team projects, and more! Plus, there always seems to be a chance to win!

thanks for stopping by!

Oh so cute, Kimberly! My younger daughter had a gingham patchwork "lovey" and this so reminds me of that!
