Die-namics Lightbulb is just about the cutest set of dies there is! Look at how cleverly this set was designed! It contains a light bulb, three pieces to make an incredible base, and two unique filaments! I used both filaments on my two cards today.
Blueprints 15 started out my card for me. I love getting a kick start to my projects with the fantastic pieces and sketches for when I really need a boost. The large angled piece was die cut from Banana Split cardstock. Then I stamped it with Banana Split ink and Pinstripe Background. The smaller angled piece was die cut from Primitive White cardstock and stamped with Star Background in Banana Split ink. See? I made basic pieces with cardstock and used my stamps to step it up. Life made easy.
Here is a close look at the light bulb and a few of the other elements on the card. Of course, Die-namics Sequins had to make an appearance. And finally, a fantastic sentiment from, Watt's Up? How crazy cute is this ensemble? I mean really? Who can resist?
For this card, I die cut Die-namics Lighbulb again, but used the heart-shaped filament. And look, another great sentiment from Watt's Up?.
The background was created by stamping Grid Background onto Grout Grey cardstock with Sno Cone ink. Where some of the lines intersected, I stamped a small heart from Beautiful Baby in Wild Cherry Ink. A fun touch, I thought.
Its a no-school day because of staff development, so I am off to hang out with the little man. We have a long overdue pretzel date. He is also having a friend come over to play in the afternoon. Time to start finding that balance of spending time with him and letting him spend time with friends...can't I just keep him little and mine?! :)
thanks for stopping by!

Great work for today GF!
Hi Kimberley, Just love your cards today!!!
These are both awesome cards!! Loving the vibrant yellow on the first!
Seriously?! Both are so full of fun details, love the yellow and shades of grey! Have fun eating pretzels today!
Very sweet cards
Both of your cards are very 'light'-hearted and I so like how you used the Blueprints 15. Good job.
Kimberly, I realize I misspelled your name yesterday - apologies - and for today's cards, I love how you used the stars and pinstripes in yellow on the first one and the grid and hearts with the lightbulb in the second one, they are too cute!
The hearts on the grid is a great touch to the second card! I love the BRIGHT colors on the first!
Love the sequins and hearts you added!
Awesome cards!! Love the color combo of the first and the sweetness of the second. The "insides" of the lightbulbs really make them stand out on a card.
Sweet cards.
Two great cards! I love the bright and happy colors on the first card!
COMPLETE awesomeness!!!!! Love them both!!! :-)
Love the addition of the stars and stripes and little piece pf pegboard.
