Go To Gal May Challenge: Lawn Fawn

What is a Go-to Gal Designer Challenge you may ask? Once a month the Paper Crafts &Scrapbooking Magazine Go-to Gals will challenge each other to create a project focusing on products from a particular manufacturer. We plan to feature one manufacturer the last Wednesday of each month. Just for fun! This month we are featuring Lawn Fawn!

Ahhh, Lawn Fawn. The epitome of the cute style. So classy. So much fun! Playing with Lawn Fawn products always puts a smile on my face.

For my first card today, I started by trimming a piece of yellow patterned paper from the Hello Sunshine Collection Kit. Then I die cut it using the darling speech bubble from Large Stitched Journaling Card. The patterned paper layered underneath on the card base added a touch of whimsy. And note the depth I added by adhering the yellow patterned paper with foam adhesive.

From another piece of paper in the Hello Sunshine Collection Kit, I fussy-cut two butterflies and foam mounted them to the top of the speech bubble. Happy and spring-y. And the circle centers on the butterflies? Dots from the letter stickers I used to spell out hello.

On this card I layered paper from Let's Polka on my card base. Love that collection. Perfect for card makers, even in the 12x12 size. There is a 6x6 pad too. Oh heck, just get both. :)

The speech bubble was created by die cutting paper from Hello Sunshine with Speech Bubble Border. Pretty cool die template. It allows you to create a border up to 6" long. And it can be turned to face whatever direction you need. Very clever.

The stars were punched out from more Hello Sunshine paper, foam mounted, and given enamel dots to make them pop. The sentiment is from So Much To Say.

Be sure and visit the rest of the amazing team. We all just happened to be in Utah at the annual Editorial Board meeting for Paper Crafts &Scrapbooking Magazine. We are planning the next year for the magazine, and probably having a bit of fun too! :)

thanks for stopping by!
