embossing with stencils video tutorial

Ready for another stencil video tutorial? Today is another simple idea that has a ton of possibilities!

For this card I used a star stencil and embossed the patterned paper by passing it through my manual die cutting machine.

Then I sanded away the raised areas to bring out the star.

This pink card is the one I create in the video below. Isn't this a cool background? For those that need a direct link to the video: Embossing With Stencils.

Stop by tomorrow for another tutorial! thanks for stopping by!

Supplies: All these supplies are from Heidi Swapp's new line at Michael's Arts and Crafts called, Hello Today, including the stencils, patterned paper, stickers and vellum. The enamel dots are Doodlebug and My Mind's Eye. The sequins are Avery Elle. The washi tape is from Close To My Heart.
