catching up with Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking

It is waaaay past time to play a little catch-up on the happenings with Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine! So much is going on and I don't want you to miss any of the amazing inspiration!

Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Practical Solutions for Paper Crafters. Print edition special issue. Yep, this one is in print! And remember you can have these shipped to your house! Wahoo!

I really like this issue. I really, really do. The first part is full of clever organizing and storage solutions. And who doesn't need those? We had a blast coming up with creative ways to store a paper crafty stash, based on what the Go-To-Gals all have in their spaces and other ideas we came up with. Then the editors created all the beautiful ideas you see executed inside the issue! The second half of the issue is really my favorite part. Cards and projects using items from your stash in unbelievably creative ways! This part always gets me pumped up to see what treasures are hidden in my office!

One of my projects from the issue. Its great when an idea and your final result match up! Triangles are everywhere, but at the time, I had no stamps in my stash. As I looked around my office, I saw a left over piece of red rubber from a stamp set, the corner of a piece. Perfect! After a trim with my scissors, I had a custom stamp! Sentiment stamp from Simon Says Stamp. Inks from Hero Arts.

Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Stamp It! Techniques, Vol. 2. Print edition special issue. Another one in print! Yay! And if you are totally in love with your digital issues, this one is also available in that format.

Wow. That's all there is to say. Wow. Unreal. Wanna be inspired for the next year? Take a look at this issue. There are 6 topics, that you can see on the cover, all techniques for stamping. This issue explores these and wow. The designers in this issue. Wow. I can't help it. Wow is all there is to say!

So happy with this project from the issue. This was a project that was all about embossing; from the embossed resist background and flowers, to the embossed sentiment.
Stamps from Technique Tuesday. Digital cut files from Technique Tuesday and Silhouette/Lori Whitlock.

Moxie Fab World

Moxie Fab World. MFW has been enjoying guest writers for some time now, but it was time for the blog to get a new host. A talented person. A kind and caring person. Someone who knows the industry. Someone who brings a unique perspective. And they found the perfect person for the job, Go-To-Gal, Teri Anderson. Teri will bring amazing things to the blog. I am so happy for her and for us, that we will get inspired once again! Check out Teri's first posts this week. She is talking all about CHA. She has some great insights. Good grief, I was standing with her at a lot of the show and missed some of the things she noticed! Its a great recap!

And finally, over at the PCS blog, I have a post. This time around I am talking about the Stamp It! Techniques, Vol. 2 issue and masking. Be sure to stop over and leave a comment for a chance to win a copy of the issue, but also to see some beautiful cards with masking and a few tips from me!

Whew! See, lots going on! And it makes me so thankful. Pinch me, please!

thanks for stopping by!
