While this is more than likely technically for scrapbooking, these journaling cards are fantastic for card making! What a cute focal point and sentiment all in one!! The chevron background was stamped using Technique Tuesday’s Chevrons Two Step. The same ink used to stamp was also applied to the wood heart.

And the finishing touch is the sequins. I have a thing for them. Shiny, matte, on trim, alone. They are super fun and a great alternative to pearls or gems.
