late blossoms

Hydrangea Backyard Edited

“When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment. I want to give that world to someone else. Most people in the city rush around so, they have no time to look at a flower. I want them to see it whether they want to or not.” - Georgia O'Keeffe

More photography. Sometimes I get so busy that I forget to do the things that make me the happiest. So lately, I have been pulling up photos and editing. This is from our backyard. Thanks to the previous owners who planted these gorgeous hydrangeas! These blossoms were at the end of the season, probably past. I was stunned by their lasting beauty.

do something that fills your soul with happiness today! thanks for stopping by!

Beauty in itself. Lovely photo. It is getting warmer in North IA so soon some flowers will pop out. We all NEED to take time to enjoy Spring beauty.

Gorgeous photo, Kim! Today I'll be cleaning up the dried tulip petals from the kitchen - we still have 2 feet of snow SLOWLY melting over the flowerbed, so I'm settling for buying my blooms this spring.
