you make me smile

you make me smile sunshine

This makes me smile. It was so fun to make! Having a new obsession with clothespins, I wanted to see if I could stamp on them. (if it sits still long enough, it gets stamped, right? :)) The stamping worked out perfectly! I used Palette ink, which is made for multiple surfaces and comes in great colors. Then I stamped the same background onto a piece of cardstock, die cut a circle, stamped the sentiment in black ink, and adhere the clothespins to the back of the circle. Pretty fun, I think. Totally not mail-able, though. :)

Here are some photos from our CHA bonus adventure day one. Beth Pingry, Cathy Chlebana, Kim Hupke, and myself all got to spend a couple extra days in the warmth, while they cleaned out Chicago. Being a small town girl, this metro living was so interesting to me; all the stores and restaurants lined up along the street, people walking to get to their needs, and just all the people everywhere. And then there was the shopping!! :)

There were fabric, button, trim, jewelry, and bead stores everywhere. The eye candy was overwhelming and inspiring! And while I love looking at beads, I don’t dare start another hobby, which is why I have photos of those stores and not the others. :)

rooster beads

There were even rooster beads! If you could imagine it, you could buy it! It was a good thing that my suitcase was dangerously close to being overweight…it kept my shopping in check!

Have a fantastic day! thanks for stopping by!

But seriously did you honestly not buy a rooster? I could not have stopped with out one. They are darling. I hav eno idea what I would have done with one, but a rooster bead is something you would never forget.
What a great trip.
