The CHA welcome sign. This show was at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Pretty fun location, as we stayed at LA Live. That’s the entertainment area surrounding the Staples Center, Nokia Theater (Grammy Awards), and other entertainment venues. There were no celebrity sightings, sorry to say. :)
This is the sign that hangs high above the booth space for Spellbinders.
The start. Everything has to be unpacked from crates and assembled.
The beginnings. The booth looks like a store with all the die templates hanging up, along with artwork.
Sorting through all the boxes of artwork.
The Spellbinders Paper Arts family. I am SO blessed to work for Spellbinders and to be able to work with all these amazing people!!!! And, oh boy, did we have fun! We worked hard too, very hard. Working the show is tiring, but to talk paper crafting with people who get it, is pretty exciting.
I only got to sneak off for a little bit of time each day, so I will share a few photos of what I loved at the show. These are cell phone photos, you’ve been warned. :)
Cosmo Cricket never disappoints. Salt Air is fun, bright, and perfect for summer photos. Social Club is cool and graphic. What really draws me to it is the numbers and the typography. They also are selling a new product called Gluebers. Its a round piece of adhesive that let’s you easily make flowers. Check those out online!
Echo Park Paper. LOVE the new line For the Record. Shabby, yet whimsical, and bright. If you haven’t yet, pick up some of their papers. They are made in the USA and are high quality.
Hero Arts and Basic Grey are teaming up to make stamps!! LOVE!! Check them all out HERE!!! Seriously fun and I cannot wait to get my hands on them!!
Lawn Fawn has darling stamps, which made their booth even more darling!!! There is some new stamps that are releasing now that you simply must check out!!
Lily Bee has classic designs that are dainty and shabby. BUT it is going to get even better now that they are releasing 6x6 pads!! Yay for all us cardmakers!!! This and That is a mix of fabulous patterns and colors.
October Afternoon really made a leap with their booth this show and it was full of eye candy!! The first photo is from Five and Dime. Swoon. Swoon. Swoon. Perfect images, perfect colors, trendy, and fun!! One other line that I will be buying every inch of is, Rocket Age. Look at that darling little explorer and his teddy bear!!! :) This momma will be scrapping tons of photos of the little man with this. He is at the perfect age for this line.
And I snuck away for a photo op and a few minutes of hellos with all the Paper Crafts Magazine people. LOVE all these women. I love working with them and they inspire me to the tips of my toes!!
Pink Paislee had amazing lines, but what grabbed me was the new colors of twine. Wouldn’t they be perfect with kraft cardstock? I know, I have an addiction. But, its twine! :)
And check out this beauty from Stampendous! Its their new jumbo cling line of stamps and they are huge. You should have seen the stunning wall hangings and home decor the booth was designed with, using these stamps. Yay for me, I have all of them and am just waiting to take them out for a spin!! :)
So, that’s all for now. More details on our side adventures and other photos will be coming soon. Its back to work on the birthday party plans. The big day is Friday and I can’t wait to share some photos from that too. Let’s just say that this momma is having way to much fun planning! :)
thanks for stopping by!
