thank you

Gratitude Day 15: Today I am grateful for Mondays. Kind of weird, huh? But Monday around here is quiet. Nothing going on. No place to be, seems like an extension of our Sunday afternoon. The little man and I just hang out and have our lunch someplace besides the kitchen table. He chooses the floor of my office or in front of the TV. Lots of fun and definitely memories that I will always cherish. :) Especially when he is taller than me in a year or two. :)

Playing with the Studio Calico back40 kit leftovers. Pretty great leftovers, huh? The oval border is a sticker from Sassafras Lass.

A close up look of a vellum butterfly from Jenni Bowlin, it comes with those pearls and a foam adhesive square. Honestly, I have been hoarding the rest in the package. :)

What are you grateful for today? thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:All from Studio Calico’s back40 kit

Very pretty card!! Enjoy those little moments while they last. They (kids) grow up too fast.

Such a pretty card! Don't hoard the butterflys ... make more cards like this in different colors and mail 'em out. Then buy more butterflys! LOL Today I am thankful for 2 little boys that still snuggle and kiss me before getting ready and heading out the door for school. I cherish these sweet times because all too soon they'll be to 'big' for all those cuddles with MOM.

Very pretty butterfly on that card. Today we are getting rain which we really need but it's cold and dreary to go with it so I'm thankful that there were no mishaps or near mishaps. I had a lot of running errands to do. Finally I'm home with heat and a pull-on sweater. Time to hit the couch and reflect.

It got cold overnight so I am thankful for a warm house courtesy our wood stove and fresh buns!
Love that butterfly on the card!

Grateful for the sunshine that's accompanying the colder weather. Any and all brightness is greatly appreciated with these shorter stretches of daylight.
