These girl images from Stampendous are SO cute!! And a ton of fun to color.
Here is a close-up look at the coloring, which was done with Copics. I made her cheeks extra pink. Like she just came in from playing outside in the snow.
When I saw this image, I immediately thought of my grandma and how she taught me how to make the traditional Swedish and Norwegian Christmas cookies that our family loves. Making a special recipe book was perfect!!
I made the background behind the girl yellow because I wanted it to have a warm glow, like the holidays. I also stamped the image twice, so I could color and cut out the gingerbread men to give the project depth.
Here is a look at the recipe cards. I stamped the lines twice, but only after I stamped the little images on the bottom.
So, I said I wasn’t ready for Halloween projects, and am I SO not ready for Christmas projects. :) With the holidays, I am kind of anti-decorating. Come on, we just moved into the house and we barely have things where we want them. Can’t we enjoy it for a while, before changing it all?! LOL! :) Don’t worry, I will give in and decorate, because I cannot help myself. :)
BTW-All next week, I have Christmas cards lined up, which works out perfectly with Paper Crafts Magazine releasing the special issue, Holiday Cards and More! Be sure and stop back next week, you don't want to miss out! :)
Have a fantastic weekend! thanks for stopping by!

These are so adorable Kimberly! The little girl in the piggie tails looks like my granddaughter. Looks like that's going to be a 'must-have' stamp! lol
Cute girls-love the recipe cards. tfs
Your Copic coloring is ALWAYS so beautiful and perfect. I love looking at the projects you share here. I'd love to know the secret to coloring with Copics successfully?? I can paint like that with watercolor paints - but I'm having such a hard time with them that I haven't touched them for weeks.
THANKS, have a nice weekend.
These are over the top adorable, just amazing!
so so cute! The baker girl stamp made me think of my Swedish Grama, too! How weird is that? I love using all her old Swedish recipes....especially during the holidays!

Kimberly! I just had to buy this image - she looks just like my little granddaughter Abigael, only she has blonde ponytails. When I went to the site, there was a little cookie baker sweetie, so looked just like the little 2 year old granddaughter Iyla who LOVES to bake with her Mamma! Thanks so much for this sweet card!
