shabby birthday

Happy Birthday Shabby Damask

I was playing around with crazy ideas in my head one day, and this was the result. Wanting a shabby look, without having to do tons of distressing and what not, I decided to not completely ink up my Damask Designs images. It turned out pretty cool. And really “missing” a spot on the stamp, left me a perfect spot for the sentiment.

Did you have a wonderful weekend? I hope so!! thanks for stopping by!

Supplies: Stamps (Papertrey Ink-Damask Designs), Cardstock (Prism-Intense Kiwi, oh how I will miss thee…), Patterned paper (My Mind’s Eye), Ink (Stewart Superior Palette Beaux Arts Blue, Landscape), Ribbon (American Crafts), Lace (Wright’s), Twine (May Arts), Button (Blumenthal Lansing)

That turned out really neat, Kimberly. I love how vintage-y (is that a word?) it looks!
