Just Rite Tutorial and Tips

Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!! :) I got several emails asking how I made the O Christmas Tree ring on my project the other day. So, here is a little tutorial and some other Just Rite tips.

I started with the Harmony Classic Circle Stamper III. You can see that it measures 3 1/4." The stamps that work with the Circle III are:
--Harmony Classic Circle Ensemble
--Christmas Ensemble
and now you can use your fonts too! :)
I used Brayton in the 50 point size. The fonts come with 3 different sizes per font.
That is what the back of each of the letters looks like. Those two ridges are what keep the stamp inside the handle.

Here you can see the letter as it is set into the outer ring. Make sure and push the stamp all the way in, so it is flat.

I spelled out the words I wanted. It took some adjusting, but it was pretty easy. You can see the little bit of an angle I needed on each letter. Honestly, you will get the feel for this pretty quickly. I was doubtful when I saw this at CHA, but it is FUN!! I love that any ol' saying that pops into my head can now be put on a project!!

Here is a look at the Brayton font, in its smallest size, 25 point. This is how it comes in the package. The letters and symbols are small and close together. To help this out, take a look at the photo below.

As I used the letters, I moved them away from the group when I returned them to their holder. It has made things a lot easier. Oh, and I really recommend getting 2 sets of a font. You always seem to need one more letter! :)

One last tip-clean these with a scrubber pad. I tried using my bottle of cleaner, you know, the foam topped cleaner. Mistake. It got in the cracks and got onto my paper. Use the spray and a scrubber pad, much cleaner and neater!! :)

thanks for stopping by!!!! :)
