A Valentine's Day card...I got these fantastic Maya Road snowflakes today-so fun! Two of the snowflakes had hearts, so I had to run with it! The larger blue snowflake, I painted and backed the hearts with red pp. I also edged it in white paint. The hearts were filled with a little bit of KI Gloo and red glitter.
The red snowflake was painted and I punched holes in it for the heart brads. The brads are actually brass, so I painted those as well. It takes two or three coats and works best if you scuff up the surface before painting.
I added some bling from Kaiser Craft and stamped the saying with old alphabet stamps from Hero Arts. Between the Crate and Cosmo Cricket patterned papers I put some K & Co paper adhesive ribbon. That's right-its self adhesive!!!!!! There are 3 styles that come on the package-each has 2 yards!! It is from their Smitten line for Valentine's Day.
Thanks for stopping by!
