WR Memory Keepers foil pen with STAMPS video tutorial

Here is a second video about the WR Memory Keepers Heat Wave Foil Pen. This time instead of a stencil, I used a stamped image to help me add foil to my card! By stamping an image onto tracing paper, and using that as a guide for the Foil Pen, I was able to add these beautiful gold branches to my card.

Man, gold is tricky to photograph! :D But you can see the fun shine the foiled branches behind my flowers adds to the card. I think that is my favorite part about this tool, the ability to add gold foil just about anywhere on a project! Look at the center of the pink flower, another touch of gold foil!

Check out the video below about using your stamps with the Heat Wave Foil Pen!

5 Days to an Organized Crafty Stash: Day 1 Stamps

Hello dear readers! And Happy New Year again! With the new year always comes the resolutions to get organized, the deep seeded need to clean and purge, and a time for renewal! If you are in need of inspiration and motivation to keep those promises, you have arrived at the right place! All this week MFT Stamps and their designers will be sharing their organizational ideas and tips with you! Along with some great new products MFT Stamps has in the store to help you with getting things tidy.

As you saw in the first photo, I use silver-colored baskets to hold my stamps. They are actually shower baskets that I picked up at Target. They were stylish and functional. Who could ask for more?

To keep my stamps easy to flip through, I store them in these new clear storage pockets from MFT Stamps. One millimeter plastic is what these pockets are made of, and I love them. The feel is fantastic and I know they are well made.

The clear storage pockets come in two sizes. The SMALL size, which you can see above, measures 5x5. They have a fold over top, as well, but that is not included in the measurements.

This is what a stamp set looks like in a SMALL clear storage pocket. Look on the left side, by my hand, and you can see the flap. The stamp set does go to the top of the flap. Honestly, I use this size the most. Its personal preference.

The details are on the photo above for the LARGE clear storage pockets.

Here is a stamp set in the LARGE clear storage pocket. I was trying to show the flap again, so I didn't get the set all the way to the bottom. This set would normally not be sticking out by the flap. If you want your stamps all the way in the pockets, purchase the LARGE clear storage pockets.

To motivate you even farther, you have a chance to win prizes, all.week.long! To enter, simply visit the MFT Blog and leave a comment on each blog post this week! Today's prize is fantastic! Not to mention, you will be linked up to the design team members and their brilliant ideas! I need to get to work on my own stash with all their creative solutions!!
Stop back tomorrow for more great ideas!

thanks for stopping by!
