A layout for Spellbinders, using the Large Format dies. They work together perfectly to create frames, like the one surrounding the photo.

The photo is from the first night our little man rode in his swing. Those photos will always be some of my all-time favorites. There is quite a few from that night. :)

Anyone else not going to be ready before Christmas? :) thanks for stopping by!

gratitude day 3

Today’s gratitude: Home owner’s insurance, and more importantly, good insurance. Our new house received severe hail damage in September and the contractors have started working. Yesterday the pergola over our deck was removed and will be replaced once parts arrive. The siding, roof, and gutters are next, along with a window and our outside lighting. While its sad, I am so glad that we can have things repaired and returned back to normal. And our company has been wonderful to work with, taking care of everything the right way. Thankful homeowners we are!

Important Fishing

Here is a layout I created using the back40 kit from Studio Calico. If you aren’t familiar with Studio Calico, they have amazing kits each month, and now have started their own line of patterned papers and other scrapbooking supplies.

Important Fishing CU

One part of the layout I wanted to point out, is this fishing pole I created. The pole was created by rolling a piece of cardstock. I then wrapped baker’s twine around the top and tied a bow on the end. The fish are from Spellbinders. I couldn’t resist using the heart patterned paper to create one fish, it fit perfectly with how I feel looking at this photo. Not only is it my boys, but its my boys fishing on the dock where I grew up fishing.

I also snuck in using the new large format dies from Spellbinders-Grand Labels Four! Look at how great it is! The size works so brilliantly on a layout. LOVE!!

Remember to share what you are grateful for today! thanks for stopping by!
