Crafted Kindness Mega Video Bundle

I am incredibly honored to be a part of this effort to raise funds for those impacted by the terrible hurricanes over the last few months. Thank you to Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner for putting together this generous project!

What is the Crafted Kindness Mega Video bundle? Its an amazing collection of 30 video tutorials from 30 truly talented designers in the industry. Each of these designers donated their creativity and time to this project. Each video contains a BRAND NEW, never before seen, card and tutorial.

(What am I doing with these people?! Seriously!? I cannot wait to take this class myself!)

100% of the proceeds for this class (after tax) will go directly to hurricane relief efforts. What a wonderful idea! Once again, I could not be happier to be able to help in such a tiny way! Enjoy the bundle and treat yourself, while helping others. Win-win!

Sincerely Yours,

Creative Watercolor Class + Discount Code + Giveaway

My talented friend, Angela, is launching her latest class, Creative Watercolor for Hobbyists, Art Journalers, Paper Crafters, Calligraphers, and the Enthusiastic Amateur. Angela is an incredibly talented professional (and award-winning) watercolor artist. Her works of art are always inspiring and she is a wonderful teacher. She teaches by showing and I never fail to learn fantastic tips from her. In Creative Watercolor, she is taking her fine art techniques and translating them into uses for the paper crafter.

A few lessons in and I was ready to get creating! I learned about brushes, tools, paints, and the most important part, paper. Each lesson unfolds into more and more learning, which leads you to more and more inspiration!

After a couple of lessons, which are video lessons, I was inspired to create a background and use masks. It was so great to have a vision in my head and then have the skills to create it. For my card, I wanted a bokeh background behind my focal flower images. I combined my stamps (because we all know I cannot draw), to finalize my vision. And while I see I have more to learn, my previous feeble attempts look pretty pathetic. :D

Creative Watercolor is $59, but until November 18th, you can get the class for $29 using the discount code FIRSTDIBS. For all my Canadian friends, there is pricing for you too.
(My class links are affiliate links, meaning I will earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.)

This is a 12 lesson class with 4.5 hours of video. You have lifetime access, meaning you can go back and watch the videos anytime. There is also a forum for asking questions and a place for students to share their work. Sharing work with others is my favorite part of classes. Seeing what others create is so inspiring!

Check out what these creative artists have in store for you today!
And for the GIVEAWAY from me! I have a FREE enrollment code for one lucky commenter! Leave a comment on THIS post for a chance to win the class! You have until Monday, October 24th at 10 PM CDT to enter. Good luck!

Stamping on Unique Surfaces

Stamping on Unique Surfaces is my latest class at Big Picture Classes and I am so very excited about this class! I love stamping and I am always looking for ways to use my stamps on surfaces other than paper. In this class you will learn how to stamp on so many surfaces, based on my years of experiments. See the best inks to use, get tips for solid image results, and so much more!

Here is the class description from the Big Picture Classes site:

Think stamps are just for using on paper? Kimberly Crawford proves how endless the possibilities really are when it comes to finding a surface to stamp on. From wood and metal, to fabric and chalkboards, Kimberly shares tips and tricks for choosing the right kind of ink for each surface. You’ll also discover fun techniques for using your stamps to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art perfect for gifts, home décor, and more!

From wood to chalkboard, to even tile, in five lessons learn how to create some great pieces to give as gifts this holiday season, or something fun for your home! The lessons are a combination of video and photo tutorials. You can also leave messages with questions and comments, and I will be sure to answer them. One of my favorite parts of the class is the project gallery where anyone taking the class can share projects they created. Its wonderful to be inspired by others!

I look forward to seeing you in Stamping on Unique Surfaces! And don't forget, you can start your
2 week FREE trial today. Why not start with my class?
