CHA-S favorites

July 23 010

Welcome to a quick peek at my favorite products from the CHA-S show last week. Forgive the lousy photos, but shaky RA hands and bad lighting equals blur. Click on the photos if you would like to see the images in more detail. And I apologize now for spending your money for you. :)

First up is My Mind’s Eye. They always hit a home run. Every release. This one is no exception. I will just share this 6x6 pad from The Sweetest Thing line, called, Honey. Something about these colors just gets me every time!

July 23 015

Be still my heart! Basic Grey’s Lucille. Just look at it. Need I say more?

July 23 021       July 23 022

Authentique, Carefree. Loved the red, of course. Great patterns. Subtle, shabby, but I could get away with a boy layout with these!

July 23 025

Loving Persnickety from Lily Bee. Fun patterns. Funky color palette. Looks like lots of creative possibilities!

July 23 030

Colored clothespins from Canvas Corp. Doesn’t that line up just make you smile?

July 23 034

Jillibean Soup, Grandma’s Lima Bean Soup. Fun collection. Its like being in your grandma’s attic. Best part, or worst part is, the backsides are just as great as the fronts! Better pick up two of each!

July 23 036

Banner Bites from Jillibean. Super cute. So trendy. I need to bake cupcakes to use these on!

July 23 037

And these wood buttons from Jillibean too. Great size, beautiful patterns.

July 23 038   July 23 039  July 23 040

Hero Arts knocked it out of the park with their holiday stamps. Bold, big sentiments. And I am saying it now, and have been wanting them for some time, BIG IS BACK for sentiments!

July 23 047

Hero Arts/Basic Grey stamp set from the Lucille line. This will be used often on layouts. Its so precious!!

July 23 057

For those of you on the hunt for florist frogs to photograph your cards, search no more! Melissa Frances has several sizes and two colors. Best part about these, more open space between twines, making it easier to display your project.

July 23 067

Ca-ute plastic flowers from Jenni Bowlin. Love the swirled petals in these Doily Flowers.

July 23 071

Oh swoon to Maya Road!! Why yes, those are spools of burlap trim in colors perfect for the vivid colors displayed in everyone’s lines this show!

July 23 074

All the new buttons from Cosmo Cricket are hands down my favorite product/s  from the show. Wood and canvas based, they are bright and vivid and will make a statement. More coming with these later.

July 23 078

GREAT sentiments, in an itty bitty size, for cards, layouts, etc. Love all these stickers from Cosmo Cricket.

July 23 081

Awesomeness from Tsukineko (Imagine Crafts)! These Ink Dauber Delights not only fit on your finger tip, but are full of juicy, inky goodness. This formula also works on fabric!

July 23 107    July 23 108

July 23 111

May Arts! Eeeeee! I am a sucker for burlap and canvas and check out these ribbons! The top ones are stitched with colors down each side and come in two thicknesses. The bottom one, need I say more?!?!

July 23 112

Gorgeous stamps from JustRite Stampers, designed by Samantha Walker. These coordinate with her new dies from Spellbinders Paper Arts.

There you have it, a peek at some of my favorite things from CHA-S. Stop back tomorrow for a look at my favorite Spellbinders Paper Arts products, because, well, there are so many new and wonderful products, they need their own post!

thanks for stopping by!

P.S. I did it. All by myself. I went to CHA. I took things slow. Took lots of breaks. Took a few naps. But, I did it. Yes, there was pain. But that is life now. The trip was so good, not only because of friends and some crazy adventures, but because it proved to me that even in pain, I can still do things. I can still go places. The medications are starting to help me feel better. Less tired. More willing to get out and do things. All positive and incredibly encouraging signs, that I needed. Let’s be honest, while I mostly try to keep my chin up, some days it just stinks. I cry. I pout. I stay in bed. But these glimmers bolster my determination to not let this defeat me. I might be slowed down right now, but not out. :)

Stamp out Cancer: Blogs 4 Boobies Breast Cancer Fundraiser

IT'S TIME TO STAMP OUT CANCER!!!!

Welcome to the second annual Blog 4 Boobies fundraiser!

This is day 2 of a 3 day blog hop where EVERY CARD OR PROJECT is up for auction!
Last year with your help Skipping Stones Design raised and donated $1108.99 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It is our goal to raise $1500 this year and WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! There are 3 ways you can join in on the fund raising.

1. You can help by Going shopping!
For every stamp set that you purchase during August 15th through the 23rd SSD will donate $2 to the Komen Foundation. Stamping and shopping that you can feel good about ! Click Here to laugh at some of our funniest stamps Click Here to be inspired or Click here to see everything we've got!

2. You can help by *Biding!
Another way you can help us raise money for the Komen Foundation is to *bid on a project or card along the blog hop. YES! EVERY Single card/project along the Blogs 4 Boobies hop is up for auction. We recommend a starting bid of $5 or more. Your *Bid not only includes the card or project but shipping to your home as well. * See "How to place a bid" for more detailed instructions.
If you are the highest bidder August 23rd 8:00 p.m. mountain time then you WIN the card/project that you bid on.

3. You can help by Telling Your Friends~
Help us spread the word about "Blogs 4 Boobies" the more people that know, the more money we can raise!!!

*How to place a bid on a card/project:
Step #1
Find the comment section of the blog that shows the "Blogs 4 Boobies" card or project that you want to buy. *Please note you may only bid on the card/project shown in the specific "Blogs 4 Boobies" post. *Any bids not placed on the correct post will be considered invalid.

Step #2
Once you are in the "Blogs 4 Boobies" comment section fill in the dollar and cents amount of what you are willing to pay for the card/project. We recommend a starting bid of $5 or more. Remember your bid includes shipping as well as the card/or project. 100% of the money your bid will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation

Step #3
Next to your $ bid please type in your email address. During a silent auction bidders sign their name next to their bid. Typing your email address is the electronic equivalent of signing your bid. Also it will help the blogger contact you if you are the highest bidder.

Step #4
Watch and wait.
Once you have entered your bid/comment sit back and wait. If someone out bids you then you may bid again. Bidding will continue until 8:00 p.m., Mountain time, August 23rd

* Please note that the participating stampers/bloggers will re-post their Blogs 4 Boobies card/project on the 23rd of August. When the blogger re-posts their project, then the bidding will continue on the NEWEST post and that comment section.

"What do I do once I place a bid"
The "Winner of the Auction" Will be the highest bid (that includes an email address)in the comment section of the MOST RECENT blogs 4 boobies post at the end of the silent auction. Please note that ALL cards/projects WILL BE REPOSTED on the 23rd of August. The silent auction will end at 8:00 p.m. Mountain Time on August 23rd .

Things to keep in mind:
The blogger/designer will declare who has won the silent auction. Skipping Stones Design will send you an invoice for your donation/bid amount. Please pay that invoice as soon as possible, so the designer can get your card/project in the mail to you.

Remember 100% of your bid will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

And here are the projects, made by me, that you can bid upon. Both cards will be shipped to the winning bidder:
