Papertrey Ink - 11th Anniversary Stamp Set

Today is the day that the Papertrey Ink anniversary set is revealed! Mixed Bouquet is a beautiful set of flowers, perfect for creating, well, a lovely bouquet. The coolest part about this set of stamps (and yes, there are coordinating dies!) is the fact that several of us joined forces to create this set! For all the details about this set, including how you can get yours, visit the new Papertrey Ink blog.

I love my set of images in Mixed Bouquet. One, I drew this. You laugh, but drawing is something that has never come easy to me. I am working very, very hard on becoming more proficient at it, so I can share the images inside my head. So when this translated, I was ecstatic!

Two, this image is based on a flower I love here in Iowa. When we first moved here, it was tough. We were away from our families and knew no one. My husband would take us driving and we found the most beautiful park with a garden. We went there often for me to take photos. One of the flowers there looked like this. (it was purple and pink in tone however.) Turns out it is called Cone Flower or echinacea. They are everywhere here and the photos of these beauties hang on several walls in our home. So, I am sharing a piece of my happiness with you!

My portion of Mixed Bouquet comes with several images-stem, leaf, bud, flower, inner flower, center, and a accent image that can add color to both the bud and the flower center. The dies include the stem, the flower, the center, and the leaves.

I stamped and die cut my images several ways, to show you how versatile these images can work together and how you can create endless arrangements!

The card above shows a mix of basic stamping and the dies. I love the dimension you can create with the die cut portions! And check out the sweet sentiment you can layer and match up with other sentiments included in Mixed Bouquet.

This card is pure stamping, but this time I added the accent images, to add more color and depth. Simple, easy, and one layer too!

Finally, this last image. Its my absolute favorite! I stamped the image, but then used color pencils to create the realism. It turned out better than I imagined! Come back and visit tomorrow for a video tutorial on how easy it is to create this look with any of your solid images!

I know you will love Mixed Bouquet as much as I do. Visit the Papertrey Ink Blog and see what everyone has been creating. The designers on that team blow my mind with everything they create! Go and enjoy some major eye candy!

Sincerely Yours,
P.S. I snuck a little bit of Envelope Envy in an earlier photo. I love how I can coordinate the envelope liner and make the front of the envelope match the card as well! :D

I'm so glad you have the beautiful little flowers (I forget their name, sorry) in Iowa, because it's a beauty. And I can't wait to check in tma. You are an inspiration Kimberly, thx so much.

I am in love with your design of the flowers and your simple card. You did wonderfully on your first design. This card would be so easy to duplicate to make sets of cards for teachers and the beautiful envelope too.
