My Favorite Things November Release Countdown Day 5

Welcome back to more looks at the amazing release from My Favorite Things for November!! Do you need it all yet? :)

For my first card I used the new Chevron Cover Up Die-Namics. I have never met a chevron anything I didn't love! Its the perfect card size. I cut it twice, once with Razzle Berry cardstock and a second time with Orange Fizz. Placing an adhesive sheet on my card base, I adhered the orange outside first. Then in the empty spaces I added the drop outs from the pink die cut. How fun is that background? 

With a fun background, I needed a cute sentiment and the new stamp set from Sunny Doodles called, Sweet Little Memories, fit the bill. I started by stamping it with black ink onto white cardstock. Then using a piece of low-tack tape, I held one of the oval die templates from Pierced Ovals STAX Die-Namics to my cardstock and die cut. The tape keeps the die template EXACTLY where you want it. The letters were colored in with Copics and a few white dots were added.

For this next cutie image, Doodle Garden You're The Coolest, I wanted to create a great background. I started by stamping Sophisticated Snowflakes with Sweet Tooth ink onto Kraft cardstock. Then I took a strip of Cotton Candy cardstock and stamped it with Striped Backgrounds. I heat embossed the stripes with white powder.

How cute is she? She reminds me of my little sister, who I definitely had in mind when I was coloring her. You can see the markers I used below, for those that like to know.
