Flourishes Timeless Tuesday

“It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC30)! It is the last Tuesday of the month so we have a guest challenge host this week. Our challenge host is Liz Williams(lazylizard). Liz is challenging us to use pearls on our cards. Whether you want to use pearlized papers, pearlx, pearl paints, halfback pearls, or actual pearl beads, whatever you choose to use we would love to see what you create.”

Check out the rest of the team:

My very simple card uses pearls as accents. But, the one thing I wanted to share about pearls, is the ability to change their color! If you have Copics or alcohol inks, you can make your pearls match any project you are working on. I wanted to add a unique splash of color to this card. Using a Copic Sketch marker (Y15), I colored the pearls right on their backing sheet. Once they dried (pretty much instantly), I cut them apart and placed them in the pattern of the background. Keep lots of white pearls on hand, a little bit of ink, and you will always have the perfect color embellishment!

Thanks for all the wonderful feedback and constructive criticism about my first video tutorial, you are all the best!! Seems like it is something you would like to see continue. I am hoping to do a video every other week, so stay tuned. Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!
