The new deck is over twice as big as the old, so its been shocking to see! Yes, that is DH in a hat. It has been in the 50's and even 40's. We have had one day of warm mid 70's. Pretty depressing. But I figure, it will warm up when the deck is done so we can really enjoy it. :)
The graduation party we went to was on a lake. The dragonflies were everywhere. Everything glistened with their wings. The kids had tons of fun chasing them and catching them. I was so proud of E, he caught one, went and showed everyone, then let it go. So sweet.
Wish the shine of the wings showed up better.
And we stayed at a hotel with a waterpark. E had a blast. This was him after he headed down a slide and went underwater. Once the fear left, he was all smiles. He didn't go down another slide though... :)

WOW!!!! Yes, home projects are always so hectic!!! It seems this project is well underway so maybe it will not be too long before you can enjoy it. Great picks!!! TFS!!!
And how darned cute is E! :-)
have to tell you my dragonfly story. Once I was married to a fisherman, a braggart too! He had this fancy smancy rig with all the trimmings and WE went fishing. Ok, I had nothing. So he was not catching any fish, and I was very BORED. I walked around the lake, found a string with a hook. Tied it onto a limb. Then I thought, I have no lure....lure? Ok, fish eat bugs. I walked on and found this thing crawling out of the water. It was a baby dragonfly. (Sorry son, it was sacrificed), and I put it on my hook. I threw it into the water and then I felt a big tug. I grabbed the string and wrapped it around my hand and fought for a few minutes with whatever was pulling me into the lake! Seriously...it was about a 3# bass! My husband NEVER took me fishing again. And all because I defeated his ego with a little dragonfly. (This isn't the husband I was married to so long! lol). I had to share my fishing story...You just had to be there. That fish was gorgeous! And so is your deck, or the frame. Can't wait to see the finished project. I'll be watching..
