Jack's World by Cosmo Cricket

Jack's World was part of my design team product this month from ScrapLovers. Very cute. Great primary colors-but modern. Perfect for toddlers and babies.
I actually cut apart the paper to use the scallops. The yellow and green strips were added from other pieces of patterned paper in the line. The stamped sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.
Behind the Nestabilities oval I placed some trim from Creative Cafe. The little elephant is foam mounted. He was cut from the patterned paper.
The card needed some green ribbon, but I didn't have the right color. (How is that possible, seriously, you should see my ribbon stash.) So, I got creative and colored off-white twill with Palette ink. Let it dry for quite sometime or you will be explaining to your 2 year old about why mommy's hands are green like Oscar. I finished the bow off with a button from Making Memories and some DMC thread.
hope you are enjoying your weekend! thanks for stopping by! :)

LOVE!! This card just makes me smile so much! I find it to be very retro an it reminds me of colors/cards that would be around when I was a kid (like 30 yrs ago). You do fun and cute in such a hip way!
