DS is always asking if we are doing this tomorrow, or that tomorrow. So, DH and I thought that a calendar would be a good thing for him. I know he's little, but he can at least see things are a few days away...I started thinking that I wanted a perpetual calendar. One that I could change or add things to at will. I had some small white board magnets that I thought would be perfect, but no one carries them anymore. My exploring at Office Max lead me to these magnetic business cards.

I hoard digital supplies as badly as paper, so this seemed like a good time to use them. I had this darling digi kit from Holly McCaig designs, called Playful. The little robot was too cute and perfect for the little man.

I made business card sized images in PSE 5.0 and printed them on matte photo paper. I had them laminated before I adhered them to the magnetic business cards. The magnets cut very easily. I cut my laminated shapes out, placed them on the magnets and then cut them to fit.
The small magnetic speech bubbles and stars are from Peppermint Creative. I thought these would make cute markers for the important days.

I did not put the dates on the magnets before I had them laminated. Wouldn't recommend it. Do it before. I put American Craft calendar kit (Ned Jr.) rub ons for the dates. They can be scratched off, so we shall see how long they last. I may have to find some good looking number stamps and black StazOn ink.

Thanks for stopping by!
