Klutz Stamp Art book review and a giveaway

Book Cover

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU. WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED WEDNESDAY.

I was asked to review the latest book from Klutz Books, Stamp Art,  and I am still waiting to get it back from the little man!  It immediately caught his attention and he begged to open it. His own stamping stuff. Not momma’s. He was pumped! It’s the perfect medium for his creative mind.
Book Stamps
The book comes with stamps (keep in mind these are not photopolymer), a black ink pad, 3 dual-ended color pencils, and an acrylic block. Along with the idea book, which doubles as a place to stamp images.
Book page 1
All the stamps in the set are shapes. Not images. The book shows how to create images using the shapes. Its well illustrated with fun, bright colors, and inspiring little images to copy. Being a reader, the text was perfect for him to read on his own. Being an independent little bugger, this made him happy. He could do it “himself.”
(The suggested age range on this book is 8 years +, however, the little man is 5 and a half and he was able to use it with minimal help.)
Book page 2
Another look at the book pages. Look at these creative ideas!

This would be a great gift for my little artist! She is always looking for ways to express herself and this looks like a great book for her. I love the idea section for her, she's always asking how to draw things. Here's to hoping!

So just last week my 5 1/2 year old son got out his sisters' stamps, appropriated MY stamp pads and wanted to stamp - I would love for him to have his own set that he could create with and I think he would too! And we love Klutz craft books - we have a few of them in the house already!

I literally shrieked out loud when I saw this. My daughter would LOVE this. She is a scrapper-in-training (I've been working on that since she was just a few months old). She loves punches, paper, coloring and painting. She would love this book. What a fantastic Christmas gift this would make! Even if I don't win, this will be in her hot little hands!!!!

This would be perfect for our little neighbor girl who is always watching me, borrowing and using everything that she can manage to get out of our house. I send lots home with her, but it's all "used stuff", this would be her very own set. Such a great idea. Where did you get it at? I know plenty who would love to give this book. Thanks for the opportunity to win :)

My grandson and granddaughter love to use my crafting "stuff" to make cards. What fun they'd have with some of their own supplies to supplement grammy's.

Kimberly, looks like your guy was having fun and I know my daughter would have BLAST with this book! She's just getting into stamping with me and wants to do some on her own when I'm "working" as well.

I would love to win this, if I don't, I am sure I will buy it so my grandson and I can stamp together. What a great idea for a child.

My son is almost the same age as yours. I'm sure he'd adore it. He does love stamping and this way, I won't be all over him making sure nothing gets lost.

WOW!! What a great book! I like Klutz books for my kids...this one will be perfect for my six yrs old. She likes to make cards but her stamping skills are not so strong, she always colors the digi stamps I print for her. This book will help her stamp better and she will super thrilled to get it.
Thanks for sharing!

What a fantastic idea! I've given my daughter some old stuff to play with but she's starting not to want my "hand-me-downs". This book would be an awesome gift from Santa!

WOW! KLUTZ books are wonderful...so happy they have added a stamping book for kids. I love how the kids get to make their own images by stamping the various shapes. I want to get my great-nieces as excited about stamping as I am, so I already have a gift bag full of papers, markers, adhesives, envelopes and trimmers for them for Christmas. This would be a great addition. Hope I win for them.

Klutz books are great--we have several. I bought one for myself to learn how to make little macrame/hemp bracelets! I like their corny humor :) My boys are a bit too old for this one, but our nephew would enjoy it! Thanks for the chance to win a copy!
